Back in their home, Yu Bai and Ma Mian are watching a movie which cuddling together. It has been a while since the two have been together with a relaxed atmosphere. They've been too busy at work and did not even have time to talk anymore.
Since it is rare that they would both have an early out, Yu Bai decided to just cuddle his wife and be with her for the rest of the day. Ma Mian on the other hand enjoys the warmth of her husband and was feeling happy and calm in his arms.
While in this position the two would kiss for a long time. However, both would always close their eyes as if savoring the romance and feeling between them.
Ma Mian likes the feeling of Yu Bai's soft lips and his minty breath. Likewise, Yu Bai likes the feeling of kissing Ma Mian's soft lips which tasted a bit sweet.
The closeness between the two is evident, however, there is only one thing that both did not want to do.
Look into each other's eyes, Ma Mian in particular, because she did not want Yu Bai to discover who she really is. Behind that makeup and those thick glasses, Ma Mian's beauty is still evident, once Yu Bai focuses on her then he might recognize her.
Ma Liling's popularity has risen these following days and one project after another began to arrive in the company.
On the other hand, Yu Bai is also afraid that she would recognize him as Mister Yun Hai. This is because he tried to get close to Ma Mian while being Yun Hai just to get the feel if she really abhors rich men. And true to that, she really hates his guts… And because of that, Yu Bai's feeling of fear has increased by much, and did not know what to do next. He only has to continue with this type of relationship until she could accept things as they come in the future.
Two people with secrets, and guilt is making them unable to look into each other's eyes for fear of discovery.
"Let's go out… I want to buy something…" Ma Mian suddenly said as she lifted her head and gives Yu Bai a gentle smile.
Seeing her smile, Yu Bai nodded his head and agreed.
The two went out and went to the nearest mall. The two went shopping for a little bit and after buying the things they needed and wants, they decided to go home.
While walking along with the sea of people, Ma Mian suddenly saw on the big screen, Ma Liling's new advertisement. Her eyes suddenly went big in disbelief as it was too sudden. In that advertisement, Ma Liling is wearing a facial cleanser.
And if one carefully looks at the advertisement and then looks at her those with sharp eyes could tell that she resembles Ma Liling.
She suddenly looks at Yu Bai. Upon seeing him looking not on the screen, she heaves a sigh of relief. But then suddenly he turns his gaze and slowly went to the big screen.
How could Ma Mian let him see the advertisement? She wanted to move but then realized that Yu Bai did not look at the big screen but just gaze at his surroundings.
She was feeling a bit flustered and worried.
Unknown to her, someone recognized her.
It was a man with a dragon tattoo on his neck. The man is looking at his phone while also glancing at her.
He then muttered to himself.
"She is the target…"
The man did not hesitate to follow the two when they left the mall and went to the parking lot.
When Yu Bai and Ma Mian walk towards their old car, they both immediately feel that someone is following them from behind. However, they could not act like they already felt it. They should act like they are unaware of this, that they are a normal couple who just love each other and went shopping as their date.
Yu Bai opened the car and put everything they bought inside the trunk.
Suddenly, the man approached Yu Bai from behind.
The man did not stop and suddenly brought out a dagger from his pocket. When Yu Bai saw this he did not react like he is aware, instead, fear could be seen in his eyes as he froze.
Meanwhile, Ma Mian suddenly shouted out loud.
"Eyaahhh!!!"
The loud scream of Ma Mian seems to have startled the man. And Yu Bai grabs this opportunity to run around and grabs Ma Mian's hand.
The two ran away from the parking lot and went to the direction of the mall's security guard. The man who followed them turns and did not pursue. However, he glared at them especially Ma Mian.
His plan was to stab the guy and abduct Ma Mian in the process. That was his way of doing this, but who would have known that the woman would shout right as he was about to make his move.
Yu Bai, on the other hand, hugged his 'trembling' wife while trying to comfort her.
The two were able to go back home and Yu Bai tried to calm Ma Mian.
When Ma Mian has fallen asleep, Yu Bai decided to contact his people. And run a trace of the man in the underworld society.
It took about ten minutes before he got his answer.
The guy's name is Dragon Gong.
He is a notorious criminal who is an expert in abducting people. He likes to stab members of the family of the person he would abduct. Though many of his victims would survive, there are those unlucky few that would die due to other complications.
He is an expert and even in stabbing people, he could make it nonfatal.
It was his scare tactic for his victims to cooperate.
As Yu Bai reads Dragon Gong's profile he immediately frowns. This is because this guy's target is not him. Instead, it was Ma Mian.
