Song Cha had an upsetting week and has encountered a lot of troublesome matters in his career. It all started in the audition in Jiaolong Corporation. Though he gained the limelight at that time and was accepted due to his outstanding performance and handsome appearance.
His body was tortured by rashes after that. He held it in during the audition but afterward, he saw redness and swelling in his body. And because of this, he could not show his face for more than 1 week which annoyed him.
Plus the doctors seem to be unable to determine what caused his rashes. And the ointments they prescribe would just alleviate the rashes but could not cure them thoroughly.
Only after a week that everything ended and he heaves a sigh of relief. But that one week is like hell for him as his body would itch so hard that he would scratch it and marks have already appeared on his once soft and fine skin.
He has his doubts but he blames it all on that makeup artist that his manager hired. Though the other artist she assisted did not experience what had happened to him, he could not help but still blame that woman in his heart.
And after a satisfactory dinner with his friends, they all decided to go clubbing to celebrate his recovery. But as soon as they walk out of the restaurant to another restaurant near the place they just had dinner, he saw a familiar face and that shabby way of clothing.
Song Cha has burned that face in his mind and could not forget her shabby appearance at that time. With a menacing grin on his handsome but slightly scared face, he strode towards the three people.
"You! It was you, was it not?!" Song Cha said while pointing at Ma Mian.
Seeing the young man, the expression of Ma Mian turned serious but she already recognized him. However, how could she own up to what she did to him? It was her revenge for trying to take advantage of her in that audition and trying to shame her. Thankfully she was able to influence his way of thinking and stop him, if not then it would just cause her more trouble.
"What are you talking about, sir?" Ma Mian said in a low voice while lowering her head.
Everyone could tell that the woman is shy and is afraid of Song Cha.
Upon seeing this, the people who saw this scene look at Song Cha with disdain. How could a man do such a thing to a weak woman? However, those women in the area sneered at Ma Mian for the way she dressed and look.
But some recognize the woman beside her, it was Yu Qi. Though Yu Qi is not that famous yet, she is already in many dramas so some people could recognize her.
"Isn't that woman Yu Qi? Then that one should be her manager or makeup artist?" the people around them began to discuss.
But of course, Yu Qi's manager is not present because Ma Mian is acting as one ever since she was assigned to Yu Qi. The reason for this is because; Yi Beiwei did not want to expose Ma Mian to that many people.
The managers in her company have many connections, and she did not want people to pry on Ma Mian, hence Yu Qi's setup was as such.
But of course, Yu Qi did not mind this because ever since she got close to Ma Mian she likes hanging out with her. Plus in the office, her real manager would be there to inform her of her schedules, so everything is as she liked.
Hearing the people around him, Song Cha realized that the woman beside the thick glasses woman is actually very beautiful.
Of course, he also recognized who Yu Qi is, but did not bother with her as she is just a B-list actress.
"Don't act innocent! I know it was you who caused my rashes…" Song Cha subconsciously scratches his neck even though there are no more rashes in there.
For the past week, it has already been a habit for him to scratch his body. So it was already subconscious for him.
"Sir, I think I recognize you know. However, in that place, you're not the only one who asked me to assist them with their makeup. There around 5 of them whom I helped. But no one ever complained…" Ma Mian innocently said in a low voice.
Her timid appearance gained the sympathy of the onlooker, but it made Song Cha become enraged.
However, before he could act, a tall and handsome young man stood in front of him.
"I suggest that Mister Song do not embarrass yourself, or the whole Song family would surely blame you for losing their face in this place." Yu Bai said in a cold tone.
He had seen his wife's timid action and it made his heart ached for her. He truly loves this woman and no matter if it was her fault or not, he would defend her no matter what.
When Yu Bai stood in the middle of the two the crowd saw his outstanding look and the silver-framed glasses added to his charm. The women look at him with a loving gaze and wanted him to defend them like what he is doing right now to that 'ugly' woman.
When Song Cha heard the warning from Yu Bai, his expression changed. If this man knew his background and is not afraid of him, then this man might hold some power in this city. He dare not offend such a person, so he reluctantly took a step back.
But he still was not resigned that he could take his revenge.
Suddenly, something came to his mind and a sinister glint appears in his eyes.
He took out his phone and dialed a number after those people left and he came back to his rich friends.
"Hey, Song Cha are you just going to let them leave? Let's teach them a lesson…" a haughty young man said while leering at Yu Qi's back.
"Haha… Who said that I will leave them be?" Song Cha said with a smirk.
Then, when the phone was answered on the other line, his sinister smile even went wider.
