"Hi, you're Miss Liling, right? I'm Xiao Benjung… I'm one of your fans…" he said as he extended his hand to shake hers.
Ma Liling did not think of anything and just accepted the extended hand. The man did not let go of her hand and suddenly said in a low voice.
"My uncle is one of the executives in this prestigious corporation. If you want, I can help you get a chance to get the contract…"
A slight gentle smile appears on his mouth, but Ma Liling caught the lust in his eyes. She immediately knew that this guy is planning something bad inside his ugly brain.
Ma Liling tried to yank her hand off his, but the guy did not let go and just continue showing that faint smile on his handsome face.
"Please let go of my hand…" Ma Liling asked politely.
However, the guy sneered at her instead.
"You're acting like an angel, but I already know that you're not that pure. I'm giving you a chance to redeem yourself and you want to spat it back to my face? Do you know who I am? Right now, I can make things bigger… who do you think they will believe? Me, or you?"
The young man's threat made Ma Liling's heart skip a beat. She knew that if this guy's made another scandal, then her career would surely be over. She knew that this guy is just a third-rate actor who wanted to ride on her fame and her issues.
She did not expect that such people would be so brave as to do such a thing in this place.
Right now, she just wanted to yank her hand off that man's hand but it seems that she could not. The man is a little bit stronger than her. Though she could actually yank it if she wanted to, it would cause too much of a commotion.
Suddenly, she heard some began whispering.
"Look, she is flirting with another guy. She truly is a vixen, a real bitch…"
"I wonder how many men had she slept with?… I guess the rumors are true… she really is a loose woman."
"Haha… Look at her, beauty and good acting skill, which man would not fall for such a bitch."
The hurtful comments of the women around her truly hurt Ma Liling, but she did not want to succumb to defeat. She has waded through these kinds of things before in the past. If she was able to overcome it before she can do it again.
Looking at the guy in front of her, Ma Liling's eyes suddenly began tearing up. Her expression and aura changed and she began to show someone who has been bullied and was frightened by the guy.
When the man directly looks into her eyes, his heart skipped a beat as he subconsciously gulped his saliva. He felt pity towards the weak-looking woman who seems to have invoked his protective nature. His hand suddenly loosens his grip as he quickly takes out a handkerchief from his pocket. His expression followed her reaction as he squatted in front of her while trying to coax and woman with teary eyes. Suddenly, he thought of giving her some water.
"Miss Liling, wait here, I will get some water…" he said as he suddenly turns around.
When the man walks towards the table where there are many prepared water bottles, Ma Liling showed a glint of craftiness in her eyes.
If she could not use force, then she could use her ability which she has gained through hard work and constant practice.
Ma Liling has learned how to affect the emotion of those people whom she would look directly in the eye. She has learned how to change her expression and how to control other people's emotions through this skill.
It's like hypnotism, but more subtle and indiscernible, it would not make a person forget what they did, but instead could remember the experience and the feeling.
As she watches the man walks away, Ma Liling also grabs that chance to also make a move. She has already removed her shoes and quickly moved towards Manager Lan's side just outside at the waiting seat of the managers and personal assistants.

When she was about to walk out of the dividing line, a man suddenly appears and stood in front of her which caught her by surprise.
Because of her shock, Ma Liling suddenly takes a step back.
