A tall woman with a good figure and a pretty face smirked while her gaze shifted towards the quiet Ma Liling who is sitting on the side. Her expression is one of gloating to one's misfortune as if she is really delighted with the rumor that is spreading around her.
Those rumors are like music to her ears which delighted her heart and filled his soul with a sense of revenge and accomplishment.
The woman is Lang Mae Qin, the princess of the Lang family of City A. Ever since she started her career as an actress; she rose to the top borrowing the name of her family. However, ever since the appearance of Ma Liling, the roles that she dreamed of have always been stolen by her.
That's right, she is accusing Ma Liling of stealing those roles which are supposed to be hers. But the thing that she could not accept the most is the comparison between her and Ma Liling. She could not accept that she is not as good as that woman. She could not accept that someone is better than her in acting.
From then on, she became Ma Liling's rival in the entertainment industry.
Every time a new role would pop up, she would butt head with Ma Liling for that role. Although she would always lose, she never gave up.
Today, she came here after passing the preliminary trials, and coincidentally she saw Ma Liling.
In fact, when she heard about Ma Liling's scandal, she was really happy and was gloating. She really wanted to take Ma Liling from her high throne, and she knew that this would be her chance.
As she was thinking, the whole hall suddenly turned silent.
Everyone's eyes landed on the man who suddenly enters the conference hall.
"That's the vice president of Jiaolong Corporation, right?"
"He's still young, and very handsome…"
"I heard that he is still single…"
"Really?... I hope he noticed me… Hihi…"
The young ladies in the crowd began discussing in low voices as they ogled the tall and handsome young man who entered the room followed by some people.
"Good morning, everyone! I am Tang An, the vice president of Jiaolong Corporation… I welcome everyone here and hope that three of you would be able to work with our company. Good luck…" Tang An said as he turns around and sat down on the remaining seat behind him.
Those people following him also seated and look at the celebrities in front of them.
Meanwhile, Ma Liling took a glance at those people and suddenly found a familiar figure. When she saw his silver-framed glasses and his handsome appearance which seem to be hidden from plain sight, she immediately recognized him.
"It's him…" she muttered with a smile.
"So he is an executive of Jiaolong Corporation… Hmm… Good for him." she thought but deep in her heart she is a bit curious about who that guy is.
However, looking at his expensive-looking suit and his aura, she immediately thought that he would be one of those rich executives' playboys.
Suddenly, she remembers that her husband works in this place. She was really busy and worried that she forgot that Yu Bai works in this place. Hence she decided to look for him after the interview and her presentation.
A great expectation is immediately inside her heart which seems to suddenly wash away the slight anxiety deep within her which was caused by the scandal.
While sitting in her seat and thinking about her husband, Ma Liling subconsciously smile as she imagines that shy and handsome guy.
Unknown to her, the act of her smiling alone has already grabbed the attention of many people who noticed a beautiful woman showing a bright smile on her face.
Many people could not take their eyes off her as if they were all mesmerized by an angel which suddenly descended in their midst.
Ma Liling's expression slowly calms down when she noticed that many are looking at her.
As her expression calms down so does the expression of those watching her. They found themselves unconsciously smiling together with the beautiful woman.
"Damn, Ma Liling's charms still never fade. Even after that scandal, I could not help but feel that those are all lies…"
"I know that they are all lies… How could such an angel have an illicit relationship with an unknown man?"
"I've read that the guy is actually a fitness trainer and always hits on famous people… I guess Ma Liling could not keep her hands off him too…"
"Yeah, she's just a bitch under that pretentious face."
A bout of insults and admiration could be heard from the people around her, but Ma Liling did not mind them. Deep in her mind, she is excited to see her husband and is already planning what to do to change her appearance.
She could not wait to see him working.
The excitement in her heart blocks off anything around her as she seems to have built an invisible barrier around her.
Then the interviews began, the celebrities also began showing their abilities and charms according to the product that they would be representing.
As the panels of judges are divided into three groups, Ma Liling is among those that are auditioning to be a model of a famous apparel brand which is from one of the companies under Jaiolong Corporation.
The name of the company is Le'vironi and is famous all around the globe. Once she is chosen as the model and possibly a brand ambassador, then her fame would surely skyrocket.
And most of the celebrities inside this hall have the same aim as her. They are all vying for fame and fortune which they could obtain from the international business group, Jailong Corporation.
And of course, not all of them are only here for the audition, some of the female celebrities are here to get a chance to gain some of the favors from the rich executives of the company. As it is rumored that most of the business executives in the company are really rich and some are even single.
