As an actress, Ma Liling has trained herself to be always in top condition to do her own stunts and action scenes. Since she has a background in martial arts, she has almost always done her own action scenes. And with her fluid action and fast reflexes, she is able to prevent any accidents so far.
With Ma Liling's simple life and low background, she has been through a lot while growing up. Her experiences have made her strong and because of this, she was able to face hardship with a smile on her face.
As she has been faced with many situations in her life while helping her mother, Ma Liling developed her skills smartly.
Now all of that experience she had has now paid off. And this situation she is in right now is only one of those times when she would secretly show her ability.
At this moment, the tip of the sharp knife is coming towards her right shoulder while the man holding the knife is falling forward. Ma Liling suddenly lifted her arms then lowered her stance. Upon doing so, the face of the man behind her was suddenly exposed to the knife.
But before an accident would happen and the knife could pierce the face of the man, she suddenly moved her right leg behind the man holding her down. And with a push of her body, the man fell on his back.
However, who would have known that the man holding the knife would suddenly trip forward and stab the knife uncontrollably to the shoulder of his companion as the two rolled together on the ground.
Meanwhile, Ma Liling has also rolled on the ground towards the person on her opposite side. Then as she stopped, she extended her leg forward kicking the man's groin.
Crack!!!
The man moaned in pain as his body fell down on the ground.
This time, Ma Liling stood up and immediately checked her surroundings.
Seeing her opponents already fallen, she showed a gentle smile on her beautiful face and suddenly ran towards the exit path.
But she only took a couple of steps when she suddenly saw another three people appearing up ahead.
"Ahhh… Damn it! They are too persistent."
She did not wait and immediately run towards the parking space.
As soon as she reached the area, she could already see the three people chasing after her. Then another group has come out and joined the three which are now numbering up to ten people. She could even see them carrying some weapons in their hands.
"This is too unfair…" she cried as she ran as fast as she could.
Suddenly, as she turns around a corner, she saw a tall figure wearing a black suit. With silver spectacles in his eyes, the man looks like a top executive in a company.

Yu Bai has just finished his meeting in the office and just finished a boring dinner with someone who wanted to cooperate with one of his companies. He came to this place and acted as one of the executives to observe the situation.
But the dinner ended early as he is not satisfied with the new proposal of the other party.
As soon as he walks out of the restaurant, he turns to a corner and immediately noticed a petite figure running towards him.
Because it is already nighttime, he could not see her face clearly, but he immediately noticed the ten men chasing after her.
Seeing the woman in distress, Yu Bai did not hesitate to suddenly grab her wrist and then followed her momentum with a twist of her body.
The woman was shocked and did not expect the man she just passes by suddenly grabbing her. However, she was unable to react when the man suddenly grabs her hair bun and then released her hair. Then the guy quickly slid his hand off the coat he is wearing and then he draped it over her.
She wanted to react, but the guy held her with his face covering hers in an act of kissing each other in the corner of the restaurant.
The people chasing after her passed by one by one and did not notice the two figures on the side. Those who see them would sneer and would just run past the two.
Not long later, Yu Bai looks at the people running on the block with many scared people who didn't dare block their path.
"Are you okay?" Yu Bai asked in a deep voice which startled Ma Liling.
When Yu Bai distances himself from the woman, he was suddenly surprised to see her beauty. His eyes squinted as he seems to recognize the woman.
But it was just a vague impression hence he did not bother asking more.
Ma Liling nodded her head as she dare not look at the man in the eyes. She is a famous actress, and it would cause a scandal if someone saw them.
As the two were about to part ways, they heard a shout from afar.
"There she is! Get her!"
Yu Bai shook his head then presses the key of his car which is parked on the side.
"Get in!" he said as he ran towards the driver's seat.
Ma Liling did not want to be recognized further so she just covered her face with the coat of the guy.
The two quickly rode on the car and left the area.
Those people chasing after Ma Liling ran and tried to look at the plate number of the car. Upon seeing the special number, they all stopped.
"Shit! Who was that?"
"This is troublesome, I think her company helped her. We are going to be in trouble by this…"
"It was all your group's fault… How could a weak woman escape your group?"
The men suddenly began to bicker with one another as they dejectedly walk away.
Meanwhile, Yu Bai and Ma Liling are both silent while in the car.
"Thank you…" Ma Liling said while she dare not show her face and also not look at the face of the guy who helped her.
She is afraid that if their eyes met, he would recognize her. That would be more troublesome.
"It's okay… where should I drop you off?" Yu Bai asked in a calm tone.
"You can just drop me off, right there…" she said in a low tone.
However, when the car passes by a poster, Yu Bai immediately realized who this woman is. So he just shook his head.
"I think it would be better if I drop you off at your company…" he said calmly.
Ma Liling's heart almost jumps out of her chest.
"This is bad… Did he already know who I was? No… Did this guy have an ulterior motive?" her mind began thinking wildly of any possibility.
But before she knew it, the car has already stopped inside the parking space of her agency. When the security guard checked the car, Yu Bai just opened his window and pointed at the woman beside him.
Ma Liling was a little taken aback and waved her hand to the guard.
"Oh, Miss Liling… I…" the guard looks at her and the man driving.
"I'm just an assigned driver." Yu Bai said with a calm tone.
The guard nodded in realization.
He drops off Ma Liling who dare not look at his face that long. Since it is dark she could not clearly see his face so she didn't bother to look further.
After leaving, Yu Bai directly went back to his company. After a couple of minutes, a normal-looking young man wearing cheap clothes walks out of the company.
As someone from the utility personnel, Yu Bai usually wears casual clothes other than the usual utility personnel uniform, with his hair down and his silver spectacles removed.
As he walks out of the office he immediately went to the parking space and drove his old car out.
Meanwhile, in ABC Entertainment Company, Ma Mian also walks out of the elevator along with some of the staff. She is already wearing her usual makeup with many black freckles on her face and thick-framed eyeglasses.
Yu Bai suddenly dialed her number.
"Hello… Mian, it's me…"
"Oh, Bai… You missed me… Hihi…"
"Yeah…"
"Are you home already?" she said with a sweet smile on her face.
"Not yet, do you want me to drop by to your company?" he asked.
"No need, I'm already on the bus…"
"Okay, see you at home… Love you…"
"Love you too…"
The two blushed after saying those words as they both travel towards their destination, their home.
The busy day is over and the eventful night is done. Though the day was a bit excited with many things happening, they would soon come back to their peaceful and normal life together.
Unknown to the both of them, they just had an accidental meeting with their true selves and both are oblivious to this event…
