Wen Jin stood in the room for a long time, and Wen Ran woke up suddenly when he was about to leave.

She opened her eyes, just in time to see Wen Jin leaving through the door. The room was shaded with curtains and the door was open, letting in some light. She scrunched her eyebrows, looking somewhat bewildered, and called out, "Brother!"

Wen Jin turned around, smiled at her, and returned to her bedside. He gently said, "When Xiaoxiao woke up, she couldn't find you. She thought you had already gotten up. But then Auntie Li mentioned that she didn't see you downstairs, so I came up to check. To my surprise, you were sleepwalking into this room."

Wen Ran's eyes flickered revealing a hint of unease on her face.

"You going to sleep again?"

Wen Jin noticed her expression and felt a slight prick of pain in his heart. He quickly changed the topic.

"I'm not going to sleep anymore."
