"Are you asleep?"

Mo Xiuchen's gaze rested on the person in his arms, his voice low and warm spilling from his thin lips.

"Mo Xiuchen, what time is it? Am I not supposed to be sleeping? Are you and Ranran already at the airport?"

On the other end of the phone, Wen Jin's voice carried a hint of annoyance. It was two in the morning. He'd just fallen asleep when his sleep was interrupted by Xiuchen's phone call.

"Not yet, we're on our way to the airport, just wanted to inform you."

"Didn't you already tell me last night?"

Wen Jin's tone was even worse. He suspected that Mo Xiuchen, who was obviously not sleeping, also didn't want anyone else to sleep and was thus calling him in the middle of the night to disturb him.
