章 102: Don't worry, I am here

Wen Ran was lucky.

Although the cliff was not hundreds or thousands of feet high, the bottom of it was filled with rocks. If she really jumped off, it would certainly claim her life.

Fortunately, she did not fall to the bottom, but was caught by a tree only a few meters down. The tree, bent by the winding vines, had luckily broke her fall.

She had been scratched on the left cheek and arm by the tree branches. Peering at the tree and vines that caught her in the dim moonlight, Wen Ran dared not move, fearing the not-so-large tree could not support her weight.

Ignoring the pain on her face and arm, she held onto the vine with one hand and hugged the tree with another. After the fear of death subsided, a sense of indescribable restlessness crept into her heart.

As her hand touched her collar, the sound of a car's horn brought back some of her lost sanity. Holding onto the neck of her skirt, she squinted at the top of the cliff, bearing the discomfort.

Then, she saw a light!
