Wang Teng maintained a low profile and trailed behind Landon and the cosmos-stage snakeman, staying hidden. He was making his way toward the palace while complaining to himself.

The poison tide outside worried him greatly, and yet, this guy had chosen to escape during this crisis. That was troublesome.

But now, there was no choice but to follow Landon. The guy had made his move, and Wang Teng had to keep up.

If things got dire, he could always attempt to blend in with the snakemen. He had heard about an underground refuge in the northwest area. It should be able to withstand the poison tide.

The snakemen were probably more accustomed to dealing with the poison tide than outsiders like him.
