Best thing about this novel is that their is no stupid misunderstanding that can be solved by few words by the characters.
Author says MC's main goal is freedom, yet is currently making him a slave to his mothers sect. Everything he says gets ignored and he is being forced into a position he doesn't want by people he doesn't like. All the while the mother and her family act like he doesn't hate them. This has gotten so much worse.
haven't read it yet but is there a harem? if yes how many women does he have and is it a bearable harem?
Everything about this story is great.... aside from the plot with the mother. Even after 1200+ chapters the situation with the mother hasn't changed. He still hates her as much as he did in the beginning, all the while the mother and grandfather act as if she didn't abandon the MC for years on end multiple times. She only appears maybe once or twice every few hundred chapters and it's the same interaction between the MC and her. Every. Single. Time. She shows up, mc is still angry at her and doesn't spare her a second glance, then she butts into to just about every conversation the MC has not realizing that the MC is ignoring her. It's getting old.
It is one of my fav kingdom building story so far. Writing quality is good. Story development is kinda slowly progressing but its okay. Love the mc character so far cuz He is not one of those dense mf. Most interesting thing about the story so far seems to be the world background. Its already stated that there are many other species who have crossed lvl 100 and may come to cause troubles in the future. I am specially looking forward to this event. So my fellow readers, if you are looking for a story with a clever and not a dense mc with a nice kingdom building and interesting future plot and also here and there a few lemon/cultured scene to brighten up the mood then give this novel a try. And keep up the good work author

thank god the MC Dosen't join stupid sect. .. I'm so tired of those plots.. this novel is really realistic as well. the mc isn't stupid and relationships are also realistic as well. this is really good. btw i have eye issues so i can't read like this. someone please create epub format so i can use text to speech

I am only at the start of the novel (chapter 50ish) but I had a few things bugging me so I wanted to let it out, I would like the author to go into more detail about the spiritual energy density the only thing we are told is that the red valley is a "high" spiritual energy density region and that the black plains practically has nothing this makes it kinda hard to compare to other places and see the difference when Minos uses arrays to increase the density so maybe add a grade for the density of something. The second thing bugging me is character design, i think the only characters that are described are Minos, and his potential females, but the description are very brief and don't actually describe that much but maybe it improves with time, but if not please work on that.

I've been reading a lot of books of fantasy books, but I have to give you credit for your excellent writing, story development, background and character design. I've read so many books that make me wonder if I'm trying to learn quantum mechanics 😂your different and love the way you do your thing, I've read quite abit but I already love this.
A light novel where i don't have to encounter same lines every few chapters or half the chapter only contains line full of praises for the mc like in Chinese mass production novels...
Hello, I do not have vast experience in writing novels, but I do know that every opinion and review is valuable. Therefore, I would take this chance and express my thoughts about this story. First, there are no significant grammatical errors in the story. There may be some in each chapter, but it does not hinder understanding the flow of events. As for the development of the story, I think that while it's great and well thought out, there are chapters that are 'somewhat' insignificant to the story that I think can be described in shorter words. This is also related to another issue regarding this novel. I don't think I have the qualifications to advise a writer since I have no experience regarding that. But, as a reader, I think that the author likes to give too much detail in describing things in the story. For example, the author will explain the logic behind something that still has no significant role in the current phase of the story. I think that instead of going into too much detail as something was introduced, it would have been better to just give some overview regarding it until it becomes significant to the story so that you can describe these efficiently and timely. Why am I giving such a fuss regarding it? It's because I think highly of the story and it drives me mad to see the story progress, but it irks me that some chapters that aren't too far from being cheap fillers are present. It's good to present the story of side characters, but going into so much depth that causes the story to somewhat lose its luster is not very good. As for the character design. In my opinion, the author did very well in describing and giving color to the characters. Each of them has their personality and identity, causing their interactions with each other very lifelike. As for the updating stability, I have no issue or opinion regarding that. Lastly, for the world background, the author did excellently. The author did not give too much nor too little information, instead providing just enough description about the world and its power structure. Overall, I think that the story is good and is worth a while. The only problem is still the use of too much info in describing certain things and the chapters that resemble cheap fillers.
it's really good, MC doesn't always get what he wants and had to use his brain, only issue is his sleeping with almost everyone , otherwise story is great
1st I want to tell the author that hats off you have done amazing work. This will always be on my recommended list of WN. Story concept great, Worldbuilding element all-time favourite of readers, execution fantastic. Character development is ok cuz of 6 years time skip that's ok it is understandable. the romance part is great and the storytelling is good. The most off-putting thing about this novel is the recurring 18+ scenes. yes, it is good to be open minded but it was repetitive. Just pointing out that this deed is happening is ok there is no need to explain every time everything with the same partner. Another thing is the fighting scenes, not so gripping and a bit confusing. Overall a great read. I appreciate your efforts in this novel and I enjoyed the journey till now, hoping for a long journey with every updates.
An interesting novel. Nothing new but interesting. But in chapter 550 (or so), there was a planet-sized plot hole. 3 people came to the city of MS but began to run away after learning about the danger in different directions, they were pursued 2 were caught and 3 caught up only when he had time to transmit information. How he ran away is just horror, the avatar himself wrote that from the City of the MC to the village where he was able to run for 2-3 days. Let's say even if he somehow managed to do it in 1 day, how did he get there? Does he have infinite energy? First, 10-15 people were chasing him and interfering with him. Secondly, why didn't someone chase him anymore? where is Minos or others? They didn't know where to run? but in this place there is not even grass and there were traces of the chase. Thirdly, even if by some miracle he ran to this village, how did he send the raven? why does the crow know where to fly to deliver the letter to his family? Does the author know that crows fly only to the place where they are taught, and not to the address? how did he break away from the chase to have time to write so many words? It's just awful. There was a good novel, but now the desire to read is gone. Google translator

The way in wich he gets the inheritance is kinda random and forced but besides that everything else is pretty good, there's enough action, cultivation progress, the city management hasn't taken too much or gone into the nitty gritty, the MC has been rational and plans well as far as I've read (ch 70ish), he could have stayed inside the spatial kingdom when he got it, forget about the black plains territory and come out when he's lvl 60-70+ but the story wouldn't be nearly as entertaining

Great story that moves along at a quick pace. The Mc is Op as they usually are. A decent city building story. And good side characters. Maybe the Mc cultivation should slow down a bit after he his 50 to keep the story more interesting.
Novel difficult to write down. I got to chapter 300, and the novel has very good and very bad sides to it. Let's start with the good, the evolution of the Black Plain is very interesting to follow, with a lot of nice little characters to follow. The army and the city is well managed. Really anything on the plain black side is really good. Now let's move on to what's outside the Black Plain. As soon as the mc goes on an "excursion" outside, nothing goes, impossible coincidences which come true and everything is too remote controlled, we often know what is going to happen, lack of suspense. Another side that I don't really like are the women who approach the mc (not all of them of course, otherwise I will have quit a long time ago), it may only be me but they lose their charm, they just become "a woman who follows the mc" and lose a bit of their personality, something that is often found in other novels of the same genre. Ah yes also lack of "intelligent" enemies I find for the moment. For me the mc would never have been able to develop his city so far with a good villain. Otherwise I recommend it if you manage to pass the coincidences a little too big in my opinion. A fairly unique novel in which the mc is not the center of everything.

It was very fun I'm at chapter 100 now I actually laughed at loud at the title being misread by me as rise of the back pain so I got curious and started to read a fork
I love this type of slow paced, well thought out kingdom building ! And I hope this story will continue to be updated.
I will be completely honest, I have not read this novel at all yet. It has been sitting in my reserve list for novels I have on backlog… that being said, every time I scroll through that list to look for something new to start reading and I glance at this novel as it goes by, all I see is: “The Rise of Back Pain” At this point I am not sure I want to start reading it because at this point it has been immotalized as a book about about a man and his increasingly painful back pain problem. I will get to it eventually, but I will never forget you Back Pain and your rise to prominence🫡
