I laughed inwardly as I saw the 'new' task in front of me, a small chuckle leaving me as the flashes of the past now connected with the present, the system screen in front of me displaying the same words I had read all those years ago when I first opened my eyes to this world, and now I am seeing it again, yet now it's for different reasons.

The quest had changed, and in a way, so has the goal in front of me, too. The only way I will be complete, the only way that I don't just suddenly die off or have my whole existence stop, is to finish the quest that I had started all those times ago, and now, in a way, I am reaching toward the end of that same goal. It's far yet near.
