章 48: The imposter is bad at acting

"Why don't you take a seat?" The Mayor's imposter suggested. 

Fu Jie was stunned as he saw this man acting so brazenly as if they couldn't see through his facade. 

Xu Lifen was the first to react as she smiled thinly, "Then we'll thank you for your hospitality." 

The Mayor only smiled in turn and didn't say anything more as he waited for the guests to sit down. 

Fu Jie was a bit reluctant at first, but he still decided to not question anything openly and took a seat alongside Xu Lifen and Dai Xiaobo. 

The other two didn't seem to have noticed anything out of the blue and it was naturally so. They had never actually met or seen the Mayor personally so they had no idea what he looked like. All the information they had was just someone telling them about the Mayor.
