Eden raised an eyebrow at Troy, momentarily distracted from her eminent doom. "That's where my missing dozen went? I thought Jonah ate them!"

Jonah shot her a mock wounded look. "Okay, wow. I may love your cookies but I wouldn't eat a whole dozen in one sitting by myself. And it's not like there's a point in me stashing them away for later either."

"Sorry about that," he said with a sheepish smile. "I'll make it up to you somehow."

"Get me a pack of strawberry sour punch straws and I'll call us even. But seriously, you can't steal someone else's cookies when you're visiting!"

Mel sighed and rolled her eyes. "Honestly, Troy! Did I teach you nothing?"
