Brian was shocked when he saw that the policemen were none other than the two boys from earlier. He recognised them by the crooked nose and the black eye. I shook my head as I saw he was about to react, pointing to Lydia's cousin with my head, not looking away from his spectacular blue eyes. *I don't even know why I'm talking. Seriously, will you shut up? Yes, I like your eyes. You're insufferable. You're an idiot. Just because I like the colour of your eyes doesn't mean that. Shut the fuck up. Get lost. I love you too.*

"On what charges?"

"Murder."

Lydia folded her arms and rolled her eyes in disbelief, Hypatia smirked. They were staring at my best friend's face; how his eyes slowly narrowed as he looked disgustedly at the cops, it was as if he was slitting their throats in his mind.

"She is innocent until proven guilty," it was an order. "You cannot take her away."

"We have evidence."

Brian couldn't speak, he shouldn't.
