"You just got back and you're leaving again." His uncle shouted when he told him about his plan to go out of town for the weekend.

He did ask him to come back and take a break from his work, but it did not mean that he should get out of town. But he guessed he had no say with the matter.

"Just give me this week. You're the one who told me that I am working too much. Melissa is even afraid that I would end up like you." He teased the old man.

He felt he needed this weekend because this would decide whether their relationship was worth fighting for. He had to make sure that this was what they both wanted before they got too deep and then realized that it was all a mistake.

By then, all their efforts would be a waste of both their time and their emotional investment. He knew that he should not approach this as if this was just another business transaction, but he needed to be logical about this too.
