章 70: Losing control

She was glad that he opted to take a quick shower first before dinner, leaving her in the living room on her own. That gave her time to recompose herself. She looked around the room and found nothing that would indicate that it was his room.

She still wondered what he was doing in the hotel. From the way the hotel manager acted around him, he seemed to be some kind of an important client. Well, she had an idea that he was rich, but she did not exactly research what he did besides what she knew back on the island.

She did look him up on the internet, but it was mostly ogling at his picture, nothing more. Now, she regretted not learning more about his background. If she had her phone now, she would surely check him out, so she would know what she was dealing with.

"Sorry, if I took longer than I intended." He spoke behind her, making her heart jump a bit. She did not hear him walked out of the room.
