章 8: ANNOYING BRAT
"I never asked you to make me famous."Mayla replied angry but at a low tune.
"Mam,she has said she is okay."
"Please continue."
Oliver had felt a little jealous of Hedrick.
"How can that low class chap move with such a beautiful girl. I have to make her mine by all means."Oliver said with a smile on his face.
Mayla had folded his arm into a fist and flung it to Hedrick's.Hedrick had already seen through that ,so he bent down and the blow went into Oliver's face.Hedrick then began to tie Mayla's shoe lace.
"Oh! sorry, I never meant to hit you."Mayla apologized to Oliver as his nose began to bleed.
He then stood up and shouted on top of his voice.
"Sir,mission complete."
"Mayla had avenged me."
All the attention had gone back to the three.The two boys ran to help out their big boss Oliver.
"Take him to the medical room."Hamburd commanded with an angry voice.
"You two follow me for your punishment after this."he said pointing at them two.
Hedrick turned around assuming that there were other people Hamburd was pointing at.He then turned back
"Do you mean us sir?" He asked with a face that seemed confused.
Hamburd could be seen trying to control his anger as his hand could be seen heading for his katana.
"Seems you are short tempered sir."Hedrick said turning his face around.
When he turned around he found Mayla's angry face looking at him.He then shrugged as he was attempting to by pass her slowly.The other students seemed to be enjoying the drama that was happening.A smile could be seen on Ritah face as it was the first time she saw a student who had annoyed Hamburd to the extent of him heading for his katana.
"Let's head on." said Ritah.
And the group continued with the tour around the school.Someone tapped Hedrick by the shoulder and on turning around, he could see a fierce face.
"We need to talk after this."
"You and me."Mayla said as she pointed two fingers to Hedrick's eyes and hers.
"Dude, seems you are dead meat this time."Xia said as he headed back to Kim.
Prosper,Kim and Xia could be seen in deep laughter as Hedrick turned around to look at his new friends.He then moved backwards and and headed back towards Mayla who was at the end of the group.
"Why did you punch Oliver?"Hedrick asked teasingly.
"I never meant to."Mayla replied.
She turned around to see who had asked.On seeing Hedrick,her face began to turn red once again.
"Why is it you?"she asked as she turned her face around.
"By the way thanks for what you have done today."
"I never knew when I was I going to avenge that little fool for hitting me yesterday."
"Do you mean yesterday evening?"Mayla inquired.
"Yes..how did you know?" Hedrick asked with curiousity.
"So you were the little brat who was screaming."she said as a smile appeared on her face.
"I think you deserved it."
"Who knows what you are capable of Mr.Problem."
"Anyway it seems my little beauty has some good intelligence with her."
"Putting all that aside, I promise to protect you from now on."Hedrick said smiling.
"Who protecting who?"she asked.
Hedrick bent down his head a little looking into Mayla's eyes.
"Me protecting you."he said with a smile.
Mayla then drew out her dagger and put it once again on Hedrick's neck.Hedrick then put up his hands and began moving backwards.
"Not again."
"Don't you want the other dagger?"Hedrick asked smiling.
"And don't you want your necklace."Mayla asked.
"You two follow me."
And the two turned around only to find Hamburd looking at them.Some of the students at the back were attracted by the interesting conversation that had suddenly stopped only to find Hamburd with their two drama queens.Mayla then turned and looked at Hedrick with an angry face once again.Hedrick looked at her and shrugged once again.Hamburd then led the way and the two followed him dispatching from the group.
"What do you think will happen to them?"one of the students asked.
