章 33: MYS 33 PAT

MYS 33

Anna went to Yogyakarta. Jono and his two cousins had already left for Surabaya five hours after receiving the report cards, or most likely they had returned to their respective countries. Stefie, of course, returned to his original habitat, Jakarta.

"Anggi... it looks like Ujung Berung is just about to be added to the map of Indonesia. It will take another three years for it to be ratified by the DPR RI." Budi joked while playing PS against Wawan.

"Damn you, Budi! Watch out, if I go home tomorrow, I won't give you a peyem." I said then kicked Budi's ass.

"Halah... it's just that I don't like it." avoid Budi

"Don't get me wrong. Peyem made by my grandmother is the best in Indonesia." Honestly, I'm useless because the four guys in front of me don't believe it.

We are at Wawan's house, the most strategic location to unwind after a day of forced labor. In addition to the quiet atmosphere at home, because Wawan's mother works in a clothes shop who only comes home at five o'clock, while Wawan's father is a farmer who doesn't necessarily come home, Wawan's two older sisters have married young at the age of 18 and live permanently in Kebumen, following their husbands. Be Wawan's favorite son and hopefully one day he will be able to manage the inheritance of the rice fields that his father is now working on. The same classic story experienced by the four boys, fate as a farmer's son.

This morning, the five of us thought we were going to oversee the harvest in the fields, but it turns out that we are assigned to harvest broilers behind the school. Four boys were asked to help with the selection process for the weighing stage of the chickens before entering the cargo truck. Then I had to be on standby at the office to help with the administration because the person who was supposed to be on duty had permission for family interests until two o'clock.

My task is simple, to make a letter of delivery after the weighing process is complete by including the number of chickens and the tonnage. Then report it to the broiler partnership office that only trucks with that number of DO numbers have finished loading that number of chickens.

We can only go home after three o'clock in the afternoon where the shift changes with the appointed classmate, more accurately victims like us. It is clear with their reluctant expressions.

"Anggi ... in the kitchen, there are instant noodles. Can I ask for help to make it? We are tired, tired, tired, and hungry." Purnomo pleaded. His face was hot red.

"Five thousand per bowl." I offered reluctantly.

"That noodle is mine, gas is mine, a bowl of the spoon is mine...do you still ask for wages?" said Wawan, the owner of the house.

"You say I'm not tired?" sprayed me. Besides, I don't think this missing guy is going to want to pay.

"Yes...you also eat Ngi. Especially for you, rendang fried noodles. We'll just have the soup," said Wawan and then explained where the treasure was kept by his mother.

"Okay." I squeaked. Then walked to the kitchen.

Fortunately, Wawan's kitchen is clean and well-maintained. His mother takes care of the cleanliness of the house. I'm not annoyed anymore when I see something clean like this.

Thirty minutes I cook noodles for five bowls. Place it on a shiny glass dining table. Don't forget to serve rice from magic-com and prawn crackers that I saw in the cupboard when I cook the noodles. For a householder with three people, Wawan's mother cooked too much rice, or maybe Wawan had already told his mother that we wanted to stop by for a meal.

"You cook delicious Ngi... I'll make it again tomorrow," said Budi with his mouth full of rice, scattered to the dining table.

"Oh no. It's time to eat instant noodles, it's not good for growth." reject me. Imagine the remaining two days tomorrow have to eat noodles continuously. Not because I'm allergic but isn't there another menu?

"Budi, just look for eels." the command of the Word.

"Me? You to come along." objected Budi did not accept.

"Yeah... we'll look for it together this afternoon. To save our emergency chef from a strike." added Purnomo to which Wawan nodded.

"Well then. Aren't you tired of eating noodles every day?" I asked casually.

"Nope," they answered coma.

So that's how the next day we ate with the mainstay menu, Rica-Rica eel. After struggling with chickens and calculations that made my eyes hot because today it was unbelievably hot, while the fan didn't help at all. Unnecessarily sweat-soaked all over his body.

"Only got a few eels. Many are looking for Anggi," report Budi carrying a black crackle filled with an eel that has been slaughtered

and washed clean.

"It's okay. Wawan's mother has already cooked jackfruit curry and chili paste." I said after looking at the kitchen and the contents of the cupboard.

Wawan, the host doesn't seem to care. He, the Word, and Purnomo has been busy playing PS since returning from home.

"Wow... if that's the case, just make the eel tomorrow, Wan. Leave it in your fridge, okay?" shouted Budi immediately ran backward.

"Yes." said Wawan lazily. Still busy playing PS without paying attention to his stomach that has been rumbling ever since. "Anggi... make fried noodles, please," Wawan shouted again when I just got to the kitchen door, suddenly making me furious.

But what can I do if the host has asked, I, who took a break, can only obey. Meanwhile, Budi has been eating since five minutes ago.

"Very good, Anggi. Try it here." offered Budi with a sweaty face due to the spiciness effect.

Ana: What kind of gifts do you want me to bring?

Anggi: Sincerely.

Chat from Ana just makes me chuckle. He likes holidays while I'm busy cooking noodles. The world is not as wide as Moringa leaves.

My head hit the cold and dark glass, I realized I was still on the train with my mother beside still asleep while my father was in the front seat, heading home.

The journey starts from Prembun to Gambir. Continue to take the KRL to Bandung. Then there was Dani's uncle, the son of Danu's late grandfather waiting to pick us up from his grandmother's house in Ujung Berung.

For me, going home means going back to my hometown. Going home means meeting my grandparents as well as Anggoro, my little brother who may not be small anymore.

Sure enough, when we got out of the KRL Anggoro station, we were standing outside the car. Then immediately ran to hug mother. Yes, it's just my mother, the place where I miss everything that always makes Anggoro annoyed with me because he thinks mom prefers to take care of me than him. If only you knew what happened, O Anggoro, my beloved sister. Lo will choose to stay under the arms of grandma and grandpa.

"Mom...bring the toy Roro ordered?" Anggoro whined after breaking the hug.

"Oh yeah...mom forgot Roro. It just happened suddenly." mom explained. I know for sure that mom is just giving false excuses.
