The next few days were good for her. that is how she felt. maybe because she was getting used to the weird changes she was unders=goingor maybe she was waiting for the time she would snap and lash out at anyone. there was no telling with her. however, she had every right to.
it was not her fault that everything was suddenly being weird and her life was literally n pause for fear and disgust of a life she had always lived and enjoyed.
was it ever really possible that a person would just wake up and be something else, without any prior warnings? for all she knew, her parents were God-fearing people. they were nice and humble. they were literally the calmest people she had ever known of and they loved her so much. which is why she failed to understand why someone would just wake up and order a hit on them. that too with their dogs. how merciless could the world get anyways?
She felt like she was living in a different world. Sometimes she would dream about some guy she didn't even know, and what made her dreams even weird was that she looked at peace talking to him.
She had no friends, and suddenly there was someone else reaching out to her. If this was her punishment for being a compulsive thief, she ready to change. She ready to give everything to up, and start again.
She was willing to do that if it meant doing away with the only thing that drove her insane. She didn't want to be like this, she hated what was happening to ger, and to think that she was ready to face the world when she was eighteen. With everything that was happening, she knew she could not make it to her eighteenth birthday.
After all, she was the buried one.

Angelo was experiencing the same things that Rhian was experiencing, the only difference was that he was not getting curvier. But he was growing stronger. He was undergoing so many changes at once that he had to shut out everyone. But then that would also raise suspicions. He was the leader of his people, and if he never showed up, the questions would be asked.
Questions whose answers he had not even found yet. He was not going to be doing that. This is why despite the obvious changes, he still came to work. Besides his place of work was more of a home than the mansion he lived in alone.
The mansion he couldn't even get himself to sell because it was the only reminder of his parents. The very mansion that haunted the fuck out of him. Sometimes he could tell and give himself answers. But that was expected of every human, what was unexpected was the turn that some of the conversations would take.
It felt like there was someone else in his body, or head or subconscious or whatever, but there was clearly something wrong with him. Despite having hundreds of tattoos on his body, they just vanished.
All of them.
In one night.
They all just disappeared like he didn't take a whole lifetime, and memories that needed to be forgotten, and remembered to get himself tattooed. It had taken him years to finally look like he was some days back, but now, he was more muscular and scarier. He was powerful, and his aura seethed of power.
Too much power for a normal person, but no one was going to ever question that.
No one.
He hated the fact that of all the tattoos that could have remained, his birthmark was the only thing that remained. But what he hadn't known was that it was nor a birthmark. That was his identity, just like the tattoo on Rhian was her identity.
Two completely opposite people were experiencing the same symptoms.
The same features.
The same changes. But they didn't even know each other.
While the other was too prod to go to the orphanage to seek help, Angelo went. He knew he was not normal. He knew what was happening to him had to have a reason, and who better to tell him than the adoption center from which his parents had gotten him?
When he got to the orphanage, he could hear the older nuns talking. He could literally hear everything because that was one of the weird transformations was experiencing. He wanted to know why this was happening to him.
He wanted to know who he really was. He wanted answers, and they were going to give him or he could never leave them alone. If he was going to die just a day before he turned eighteen, then at least he would be home; considering these were the people who had seen the people who brought him here.
These were the people who knew what might have happened or even what was happening to him. He needed answers, and they were going to give them to him. No compromises. They were going to help him out, and even if he couldn't get any help, then he would at least get an explanation as to why all this was happening to him.
He would be getting answers today, and no one was going to stop him. He had left the operations of his businesses and wild life to Carl, the best friend who he loved with everything he had. The only brother who knew how to deal with an angry angel, a happy Angelo, a depressed Angelo, and a sad Angelo.
He knew all the aspects of dealing with the man that was feared by everyone who knew him. With his antics it was almost obvious they were polar opposite, but who would have known that they would get along so well?
With Carl running his empire, he was now home, to find the loops in the sequence in his life. He was here to know what was happening, and whether or not he was crazy. What he hadn't counted on was the fact that the goddess would also come here.
Tonight was the reunion that was planned by the warlock years ago, they didn't just know it yet. After all tomorrow they would be turning eighteen.
Or better yet, in a few hours, they would both be eighteen.
