"You shall never see the light again!" - says the shadow.
As we know, every story has it's own beginning and ending.
We all have different preferences, just like anybody on the planet Earth.
I don't really need to write my name in this notebook, because no one will ever read it or check it out because they are interested in me or in this random notebook they found.
This should be my diary, as what I am doing in life, but it turned out to be how did I almost die.
I am an adult now, everything happen when I was a teenager.
I was a silent kid, and never liked to chat with anyone.
My parents decided to get a weird and a big house in a different city, because we were moving a lot for some reason and now I know why. They would get me to some priests to get some blessed necklaces or anything blessed that I can keep with me. A teen like me didn't find anything suspicious, I just minded my own business.
One day at 2AM, I heard someone laughing so loudly that I wanted to check out and see what was going out. My mother said:
"Son, if you ever hear something weird don't look for it and sleep."
I said alright, and got a little bit curious that time but i choosed to not ask any questions. The mother sighed in ease and went to the kitchen.
It was morning this time, and I really couldn't feel asleep. It was too much to handle, the laughing was too much but after some someone or something started crying. I got up, opened my room's door and there it was, actually there they were. Some black things, as if they took the image of a woman, child and an older man. I got scared and slammed my door shut. Got my cross, necklace and some holy water my mother left in the room. I went to my bed and covered myself in the blanked. Someone opened the door and I closed my eyes while shaking in fear.
The three if them chuckled and then it was a dead silence...
Until a weird voice said:
"I think he heard us..."
"He did, he did, didn't he!" - A man's voice replied.
"There is no way, they cannot hear us, they cannot her us!" - A child's voice replied.
"Should we play a game with him? Should we hold his legs and then carry him down the hallway!" - the woman's voice replied as they all chucked.
"Shall we, shall we? Let's have fun! Shall we, shall we?" -A child's voice replied.
I shaked in fear like never before. Then put my necklace on my neck and hid the cross in my shirt. As they were coming over I calmed down, theh got my blanket up and all laughed together then said:
"Hey, he is really sleeping." -Says a man's voice as he chuckled.
"Is he, is he really? Thay cannot be! Let's carry him until he wakes up!" -Child's voice replied.
They carried my legs and my body was slidding on the floor. But I couldn't open my eyes. They chatted a little between each other and all I hear was:
"You can let go of him now. He is boring!"
They got me up on my legs and pushed me down the long stairs. When I opened my eyes I was bleeding all over, I saw the shadow and all of them were laughing again.
Laughing crazily, as if I was one of theit toys.
I felt the pain going from my head to my legs.
It wasn't a 'they' and it wasn't even a person.
It was something with big teeth and a big wide scary smile.
I was watching it, while it disappeared into nothingness.
My father found me first, mother cried but I never ever heard that cry before. I wanted to cry with her but I couldn't...
And that was the story of how I almost died. I was in the hospital for twenty days, it wasn't interesting not fun. I had nightmares non-stop and if everything was happening all over again.
I was traumatized by everything, and once I was into a sleep paralysis. They couldn't woke me up. I woke up five hours after everyone left, and I saw the shadow again in the corner of my eye.
The next day when I woke up, as if nothing ever happened.
Even now, I would have nightmares. And the nightmares I had as a teen couldn't never compare as the nightmares I have now. This is nothing, but I still get scared. Sometimes I still see the shadow in my room but I look away and the shadow is gone. My mind is playing games with me like always.
I want to forget everything, but somehow I cannot.
I woke up by my dog's barking, and it was 2AM. Behing me I hear the same three voices I heard when I was a teen. I was still, didn't say anything. But the shadow said something to me:
"You- shall never see the light again!"
I felt cold and the need to throw up. My feet got numb and I collapsed.
I woke up in my living room at the floor, as if I was sleepwalking. Remembering everything clearly is a talent of mine, that I want to erase.
