章 389: You Know, Don't You?

The call hadn't been one Lena was expecting. Certainly not from this person. She had heard enough about him but had never made any contact herself. 

"We do need you here right now, though, you see. We can't go about doing this process without you. The person that Sammy is close to and all of that. I am sure that you can understand." She didn't, though. The princess did her best to keep her expression blank as she listened to the man on the other end of the phone speak. It messed with her mind how much he sounded like Jovani. Far too much for her stressed-out body to handle. 

"There are too many other matters going on right now. We had already agreed with Jovani that this would be taken care of at a later point in time. There is no reason to rush it." She kept her voice level to avoid attracting too much attention as Juluan set on dealing with Dino.
