章 19: Chapter 18: School
I woke up the annoying ringing of my alarm clock. I needed to get up and go for my run, my schedule has been so messed up and I can tell I'm starting to gain weight from all of Emily's cooking. I looked over to my right and looked at Paul who was fast asleep, I didn't want to wake him up because he always gets grouchy in the morning. I lightly kissed Paul's lips and got out of bed.
"Where are you going?" Paul asked not opening his eyes.
"For a run, I'm starting to gain weight." I spoke walking to my closet.
"No your not, your body looks good." He quickly replied.
"Well I don't think so." I laughed.
"Can I come with you?" He asked.
"Yes but hurry up I'm leaving in five minutes." I spoke.
I threw on a pair o f spandex and a sports bra and went to the bathroom to out up my hair.
I finished getting ready and I went downstairs to go get my shoes on and head out.
I finished getting ready and waited for Paul, he was downs stairs in three minutes of me waiting.
"You ready, slow poke?" I smiled.
"Yes ma'am." He smiled.
We walked out the door and went to the edge of my driveway.
"So what's the route today?" Paul asked.
"Two miles past your house and back to mine?" I waited for approvel.
"Sounds good to me." He smiled.
I smiled and started off. We made it past Paul's house and we took a minute to catch our breathe.
"Jeez why is this so hard?" Paul groaned.
"Because all we have been doing is eating at Emily's and doing nothing since the Cullen family left." I explained.
"I can't believe they actually left." Paul announced.
"Me either, But I wish they would have taken Bella with them, this just gives her another chance to mess with Jake and Leah's relationship." I admitted.
"I think Jake will be ok and Leah with most liking won't let her play with Jake." Paul replied.
"Your right but I swear if I see her on the reservation she is going to get her ass beat." I smirked.
"Sounds good to me." Paul smirked.
"Alright come on, I need to eat and get ready for school." I groaned.
Paul and I began are way back.
"I wish you didn't have to go back, because now I don't get to see you twenty-four-seven." Paul spoke breaking the silence.
"You'll be ok and remember I won't be at school all the time, Sam's bound to call us most of the week." I smiled.
"Your right, but I'm still going to miss you." Paul mumbled.
"You'll be ok, and you can always pick me up and drop me off." I reassured.
"Your right." Paul smiled.
We finally finished our run and walked in the house.
"Can I shower with you?" Paul pouted.
"Not today maybe later." I smiled.
"Fine, I'll make you your favorite shake." Paul pouted.
"Thank you bubbas and don't forget we have to pick up Seth to." I yelled down the stairs.
"I know don't worry I'll make him something to eat to." Paul shouted back.
I smiled and went my bathroom. I stripped from all my sweaty clothing and started the water. I got in the shower and let the water just run down my body for a couple minutes before I got out and dried off. For today's outfit I chose my short denom shorts and a black tank top. I went back into the bathroom and just parted my hair down the middle and went downstairs.
"Really your going to wear that." Paul looked at me up and down.
"Yeah, what's wrong with it?" I questioned.
"Those shorts are to short and I can see lots of skin." Paul explained.
"It's not my fault I'm a shifter I got a body temp that's basically a fever and clothes just make it way to hot." I explained.
"Fine but if I hear that someone looked at you the wrong way I'll rip there head off." Paul smirked.
"I know I know Mr. Hothead, and don't worry I got the other guys I'll be fine." I reassured.
"Fine, but here's your shake and I packed Seth some breakfast." Paul smiled.
"Thanks babe." I smiled and kissed Paul on his lips.
I swear every kiss just gets better and better.
"Alright I'm going to shower really quick and then it's time to go get Seth." Paul smiled and walked up stairs.
I drank my shake and sat in the living room waiting for Paul to finish.
Paul finally finished and walked downstairs.
"Ready?" Paul asked.
I replied with a head nod and grabbed my backpack and we walked to Paul's car. The drive was mostly Paul telling me how much he was going to miss me and how he would kill someone if they looked at me the wrong way, I laughed the entire time and told him I would only be gone for a couple hours. We laughed and got to Seth's house. Seth was waiting for us at his front door and when he saw us he smiled and walked to the car.
"You ready for school little man?" I smiled looking in the back seat.
"No." Seth replied.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because I'm going to be a junior and the rest of you guys are seniors or graduated." Seth frowned.
"It's ok we might still get classes together and you can sit with us at lunch, there won't be much of difference, and of course Paul and I will pick you up and drop you off everyday." I smiled.
"Thanks Bambi." Seth smiled and rested his shoulders.
The car ride to school wasn't quiet we were all singing to the radio and talking. We finally made it to school and got out of the car. I kissed Paul and we walked tot he front doors.
"Hey guys." I greeted everyone.
"Hey you guys ready to go get our schedules?" Jake asked.
We all nodded and headed to the office to get our schedules. The office lady was very nice and she handed us all our schedules.
All my classes I had one of the guys in. Math I had Jake and Seth, English I had Embry, PE I had Jared, Quil, Embry, Seth, and Jake, Bio I had Jared, Computer Concepts I had Jake and Jared, and we all had the same lunch.
"You ready for math" Jake asked as the bell rung for us to go to our first period.
"No I hate math." I grounded.
"Come on Bambi it'll be fun with us." Seth smiled.
I smiled and we all split and headed to our first periods. Math was actually fun all we did was goof off and laugh the entire time. The rest of my classes were alright they would have been way more boring if I didn't have one of the guys there. It was finally time for lunch.
"Hey guys." I greeted and sat down at the table.
All the guys greeted each other as they came to the table.
"So how's your classes little man?" I asked looking at Seth.
"Good just boring." He explained.
"Same." I smiled.
"Hey there ma." A boy with brown curly hair said as they sat at the table.
"Go away Tyler she doesn't want you." Jake growled.
"She can make her own decisions Black." He snapped.
"Don't talk to him like that." I snapped back.
"Ooo feisty, I like it." He smirked.
"No I just don't appreciate you talking to my brother like that." I said with an attitude.
"Come on ditch these losers." He grabbed my hand.
"Don't touch her." Seth yelled.
"And what are you going to do about it bitch." Tyler shouted at Seth.
"That's it get the hell out of here whatever you name is because I know for a fact you aren't talking to my boy like that and disrespecting them." I shouted.
"Whatever your just a slut anyway." Tyler smirked and got up.
"What did you say." I asked.
"I said your a slut anyways." He repeated.
"Call her a slut again and we are going to have more problems." Jake snapped.
"Want me to tell your dear old friend Paul what you called his girl friend?" Embry asked.
"Your Paul's girl friend?" Tyler asked.
"Yeah and what about it?" I snapped.
"Oh nothing just know you man got some temper issues." He noted.
"Oh she knows but she has some temper issues of her own." Jared added.
"Whatever I'm out.t" Tyler rolled his eyes.
"Don't ever come near my friends and I again or we are going to have some problems." I whispered in Tyler's ear and also squeezing his arm as tight as I could.
"Let go of me." He winced in pain."
"Got it Tyler?" I asked squeezing his arm a little harder.
"Got it now let me go." He begged.
I finally released his arm and he grabbed it right away walking back to his table.
"Nice Candy." Jared smiled.
"I know." I laughed.
The rest of lunch we laughed and mocked Tyler. We all had one class left and then school would be over until we heard a howl. It was Sam, he was calling us something must be important. We all heard it and got up from our table without cleaning up and ran towards the doors. We pushed the doors open and ran the woods and shifted.
