One Punch Man: Boom

Prologue

Somewhere in Z-city in a random alleyway, there rested a three-year-old boy with black hair and light blue eyes. He was sitting, leaning on the wall with his knees on his chest and head resting on top of them, all huddled up. He was there all alone, no company in sight until a middle aged man with white hair walked by and noticed him even though it was very dark and the boy didn't make any noise.

The man had white spiky hair, thick eyebrows and mustache of the same color and light blue eyes. He was wearing a tight, long-sleeved black shirt, light-colored pants, and black slippers.

"Oh, hello there little one." The man walked to the boy with a friendly and warm smile to not alert him. Then he lowered himself closer to his eye level. "Want to come with me?"

The boy responded by staring at the old man in the eyes with a blank, confused face.

"I've got food, even a place to say if you want to." The boy still kept staring without answering. The man started to worry that the child didn't understand him but he still had to keep trying. He wasn't going to leave this child here alone without knowing he was going to be okay. "Don't worry, I won't harm you."

He kept smiling and waited patiently. When he was about to lose hope on getting any reaction, the boy finally gave a little nod. This made the man both relieved and happy. He rose to his feet and offered his hand to the little fellow. The boy took his hand and was lifted on the man's shoulders. They then started walking towards a certain mountain with the boy in piggy back.
