Mr. Raichand called Myra and expressed his regret at what happened at the party. He assured her that he will personally investigate the matter and the culprit will be punished. He said nothing about the divorce papers or Aryaman; instead, he expressed his pleasure at her going to London. "Enjoy your stay there. I have told Sanchit to take you around Europe. I am sure you will like it."

Neither Myra nor Aman ever found out how Sanchit negotiated with his father, but they were pretty relieved at the outcome. "You do have a way with people," said Aman. "I was expecting heated discussions and a showdown, but this is anti-climax."

"You just need to know the people well. Then use their strengths in your favour. There should be a win-win situation at both ends."

"Wow," – Aman marvelled. "Although I am in politics, you are more adept in people management. I should learn a couple of tricks from you."
