This was weird because he shouldn't feel like that for anything, only to notice that this feeling stemmed from the petrification serpent mother that was slowly devouring the cocoon, enveloping him and the unhatched petrification serpent, into her maw.

While supplying the cocoon with more mana to prevent anything unpredicted from happening, Jason noticed that multiple emotions were flooding him.

Most of them were from the petrification serpent's mother who thanked him wholeheartedly, while the unhatched petrification serpent tried to figure out more about Jason, who was completely different from the bipedal beast that had abducted it.
