章 16: Chapter 16 - "Meant To Be"

After almost a week at the hospital. It was Sunday morning, around 7:30 am.

The doctor came in.

"Good Morning."

"Good Morning doc."

Chloe greeted the doctor respectfully.

"Luke is now stable, he got better and he can finally go home."

"Thank you, Doc." Chloe replied.

The doctor left.

So, Luke finally recovered from that stabbed wound in his back and he can finally go home.

"Chloe. Finally, we can go home." He smiled.

"Yeah, Luke. So, let's go."

Chloe arranged and organized Luke's things. They ride on a taxi going to Chloe's condo in Baliwasan. As of now, Luke was staying at Chloe's condo.

It's already 9:00 am in the morning. Luke was siting in the sofa, he's using his phone. Suddenly, there's a crumbling sound in his stomach.

"Chloe, I'm already hungry. Do you have something to eat there?" Luke asked her.

"Yeah, actually. I will cook something for you. Coffee, do you want?"

"Of course. Thank you baby." He nodded and smile at Chloe.
