While Lucian spent his time in a bar, drinking his anger and picking unnecessary fights with his beta, Esmeray finally got up from the bed and took care of her children. Her son refused to accept a new man in his mother's life. She didn't want him to pull away from her - he was one of the reasons she chose to live after losing her mate.
