章 48: Chapter 48 Discussion with All Might

Rex was walking with Uraraka, Ida, and Midoriya since he wanted to talk to Midoriya in private when the topic of reasons for becoming a hero was put in the discussion.

Midoriya was All Might's fan so he wanted to be just like him which everyone knows pretty well.

"I want to follow the footsteps of my brother," Ida said.

"Ah, I see you are Turbo hero: Ingenium's brother from Tokyo. I have met him a couple of times since he is a pro in one of the main wards in Tokyo city. Why haven't I met you?" Rex asked.

His brother Ryu and Tensei, Tena's brother, were acquaintances. Ryu had made some support equipment for Tensei so Rex knew him.

"Actually I have seen you at a party but you didn't notice me. I was not very talkative back then." Ida said with a wry smile then explained, "His brother Ryu and my brother are good friends and we both are from Tokyo."

"Whoa! I heard that place is huge with tall buildings and crowded streets." Uraraka said then asked Rex, "So what's your reason for becoming a hero?"

"Simple. I want to use my quirk whenever I want without any bother." Rex said. He didn't want to say that he is going to end the era of quirk and for that he needed to make this nation stable before that.

Then the topic converted to Uraraka.

"So you want to become a hero so you can get rich?" Midoriya asked.

"Yeah… kind of…" Uraraka said scratching her head then shook her head, "I am sorry if I sound greedy!"

"Not at all. Your goal is to support your wellbeing. It's a perfectly admirable ambition to have." Ida said swinging his hands.

"It's true. it is much better than my lousy reason for using a quirk in public." Rex added.

"It's… how do I say…my parents own a construction company but we haven't got any work so we are kind of broke. Anyway, it is usually I don't tell any people but…" Uraraka said nervously.

"Construction… eh?" Ida thought.

"If she got her license, I bet she could reduce the cost a lot," Midoriya added while Rex remained silent.

"I know right! I have been telling dad since I was little but… I am gonna be a pro. I will sign a good agency and make plenty of money." Uraraka said with firm determination. "Then I will have my parents an easy life."

Ida clapped his hand and praised Uraraka who become embarrassed while Midoriya was equally surprised.

Rex widened his eyes when he heard Uraraka.

'What a noble dream… am I going to destroy her dream by removing these quirks from this world? I can't even come front and offer some help since it will break her pride and determination. Not only her but millions of people who are also relying on their quirks. I never have a shortage of money but what about people like them…?'

"Rex, hello?"

"Huh? Yeah?"

"You have become quiet all of a sudden," Ida said who was just staring at Uraraka who a little red.

"Ah sorry." Rex said then looked at Uraraka and said, "Uraraka-san, you have an admirable dream. If possible, please consider me your support as a friend." Rex said with a smile.

Uraraka first stared at Rex for a brief moment then nodded with rosy cheeks. She didn't know but her heart skipped a beat for a second. She knew that Rex had a charm and calming atmosphere around his surrounding but she didn't know he was this cool.

They then heard a laugh when-

"Young Midoriya and Young Rex are here!!" All might said pointing at his finger to the group.

"Whoa! All Might, what are you doing here?" Midoriya asked.

"Lunch. You wanna eat with me?" All Might asked both of them showing a lunch box.

Rex wanted to laugh at how obvious All Might was but he decided to go with Midoriya who was confused.

They came to a room where All Might go back to his skinny form. Midoriya widened his eyes a little but then saw Rex's unresponsive expression and thought that Rex may also know about All Might's injury.

"No need to worry Midoriya. Young Rex knows my injury well." All Might said sipping the tea.

"Yeah, and if you guys remain that obvious then it is just a matter of time before others find out that you received your quirks from All Might," Rex said with a chuckle.

All might and Midoriya spat out the tea and coughed several times.

"How did you know about this?!" Midoriya asked with surprise and All Might was the same but then realized who Rex was and sighed.

"Do I have to remind you the number of times you guys were so obvious?" Rex said with a deadpan face.

Midoriya frowned and while All Might sighed again.

"Plus obtaining information is my specialty," Rex added showing Midoriya and All Might's phones unlocked.

Their jaws dropped on the ground and they checked their pockets only to find their phones were missing. Rex chuckled and gave them their phones.

'Scary…' Both of them thought. They didn't even notice their cell phones were missing until Rex showed them and they were unlocked.

"So what do you want to talk about All Might? Or should I call you Toshinori-san?" Rex asked.

"Rex, actually I wanted to tell you about my quirk but I guess you already find out." Toshinori said then looked at Rex again, "If possible, I wish you to help Young Midoriya, please."

"All might, you don't need…" Midoriya wanted to refuse but stopped. He still can't use quirk properly.

"Rex, I have known your mother for many years. We have fought side by side and defeated many criminals. At her prime, she was even stronger than me, both in combat and technique. I also know she taught you all kinds of combat so I want you to help Midoriya. Of course, it's just a request."

"Okay but I want a good reason why should I even help him," Rex said.

Both of them were a little shocked as Rex didn't refuse right away.

"I don't have much time left. Sooner or later, I have to step down and I want young Midoriya to take my place as the next symbol of peace." Toshinori said with a determined face. Midoriya also nodded with a firm expression.

"You are a cruel person Toshinori Yagi." Rex suddenly spoke with a grin.

"Huh?"

"You are even crueler than any villain All Might!" Rex said with a cold glare as his eyes turned into combat mode. His expression also turned 190° from a casual tone to an angry cold one.

"Hey…"

"All Might, do you want to kill this boy just because he has the same hero fantasy that you have?!" Rex said with a heavy voice. His expression turned stiffer with the words he spoke.

"Just look outside, All Might. They don't consider your hero but a god. They basically worship you. Don't you know being too kind could stop those people from fighting their problems and halt their growth? Now you want to put that entire burden on this weak-looking kid?!!" Rex raised his voice and nobody stopped him. "Don't you know that you are being used?"

"What do you mean…?" Toshinori hesitantly said.

"Sigh* I am sorry. Forget what I said." Rex shook his head and rubbed his forehead. He then looked at Midoriya who flinched a little. "Midoriya, if you want to become a symbol of peace like All Might then think while you are still young. Think about what you have and All Might doesn't." Rex said then asked, "You have a mother who cared about you. Are you prepared if villains come after your mother and something happened to her?"

"Wait, Rex…"

"I-

"Don't even say that you will protect her. Remember Midoriya, there are things which you cant solve with just pure punches." Rex cut off Midoriya who looked down. Rex sighed then smiled, "I am not gonna discourage you by threatening you from those threats. Just be prepared and try to see the dark side of your actions which people often didn't want to see just because they are afraid." Rex said looking at Toshinori whose face turned down.

Rex stood up and then walked to the door before looking behind and said, "100 pushups, 100 situps, 100 pull-ups, 100 squats, and 10 km of running every single day like a cup of coffee. Plus there are some martial art techniques that I put in your phone."

Midoriya then looked at his phone and found a new folder. He smiled and nodded.

"If you want to become the symbol of peace then you have my support but if you both want to know the truth then ask me when you guys are prepared because it may shatter your ideal," Rex said then left.

"Midoriya, I…" Toshinori looked apologetic.

"It's okay All Might. No matter what anyone says, I am going to become a hero." Midoriya said with the same determined expression. But then thought what could Rex want to show him?

Same night

Midoriya was holding his phone and looking at the folder that Rex place. He was still scared of him not because of Rex's strength but because of his private information which was not safe then.

"Videos?" Midoriya saw two sections, one had videos while the other had some pictures. He clicked on the first video.

He saw two black men who seemed to be doing some kind of exercise at first but things went horribly wrong when they start touching each others' dragon.

[Dude, you are so good~]

[I love you dude~]

Midoriya hurriedly canceled the video and covered his mouth to not to vomit.

"What the hell?!" Midoriya can't believe what he saw. He didn't know the meaning of these videos full of dudes clinging at each other until he clicked the picture section.

His eyes started to bleed when he saw some nasty pictures of Bakugo in different outfits.

Bakugo in his trunks with something standing. Bakugo in bunny girl outfit with the same annoyed face. Bakugo in BDSM outfit wearing black lingerie!!!

Midoriya ran from his room to vomit. He came back with a defeated look and saw there was a text file too.

[First part of training is to control your inner desires. If you got an erection upon watching those videos and imagining yourself with Bakugo then you are failed to control your desires. Practice again and again until you got a good immunity with Bakugo. Good luck.

P.S: Now you have photos of him. If he tries to bully you again, show him these photos and beat him. His public image will be ruined before he even becomes a hero. Now that you have this, don't act like a pussy next time or your photos with a similar appearance will be going viral. Adios ;)]

"S-scary!!!!" Midoriya threw away his phone and decided to sleep. He also decided to forget those videos and pictures like a nightmare and started to imagine the heroics of All Might.
