章 3: The Knight and Maestro Elaine du Lake
I have read many books about his adventures, from Chrétien, to Malory and even to White, and that is naming a few.
But.
Throughout the stories.
The son of the lake, is always challenged, and is always driven mad.
I for one, have had enough.
I wish to give him a break, by summoning him to fight in a crusade, and yes, I can hear the irony.
But!
You must eat a slice of hell, to enjoy the piece of heaven.
My name is Elaine du Lake, and I have a desire to fulfill.
Elaine's command jewelry is a tiara.
Elaine has found her way to the Castle of the Blessed Horn (of Brân), and the Blessed Body (of Christ), Corbenic.
She entered the castle, where she dropped some of her blood on the ground, she then uttered the summoning chant;
" As you once fought for this family, so then, as now, I hereby, as your heir and Maestro, summon you, my ancestor as my attendant! "
A knight, dressed in pure white armor, with the Lake Arms: Argent, three bendlets gules on his chestplate, could now be seen, kneeling.
Elaine now received these words in her mind;
Attendant; the White Knight; Sir Lancelot du Lac.
Weapon; Arondight.
Limiters;
First limiter broken; he gains access to his ability to master any and every form of weapons.
Second limiter broken; the White Knight can call forth his Chariot of Morgan Mwynfawr, making him the; Le Chevalier de la Charrette.
Third limiter broken; Joyeuse-Arondight.
Lancelot took off his helmet, as he was kneeling.
" I am at your service, my lady " said the white knight.
Elaine broke two of her gemstones, and then said;
" Call forth your chariot "
Which Lancelot did.
" So, we are off to the crusade, " he said.
" Nope " said Elaine with a smile.
" Pardon? " said Lancelot, confused.
" We still have some time before the rest of the Maestros arrive in Switzerland. So I have decided that in the meantime, we will go on a little vacation " said Elaine with a proud smile.
Lancelot simply giggled.
" Where to, my lady? " he asked.
" How about… '' Elaine paused for a moment, and then said;
" We shall go to Troyes, in France "
