章 16: Together

In my hunt for food whilst trying to escape Silk's everwatching eye, I bumped into the prince (or Alric -thank goodness I finally know his name- I guess) who immediately took my hand and said "Let's get out of here. I don't know about you but I would like to actually eat something." Everyone was busy watching dancers perform, oohing and aahing as they twirled and lept and twisted in billowing blue costumes. It was the perfect distraction, so we quietly snuck out through the French doors. Gloria caught my eye and tossed me a wink as Alric helped me push my skirt through the doors.

Once I was free of the doors, we quickly hurried through the gardens to a bench where surprisingly enough, a picnic basket was waiting.
