"Let's go home, Heide. Let's go bury mother. We owe her that much," Alanor voiced so calmly, and once again everyone was in shock. They had been expecting Alanor to run, like she always did.

He always ran away from his pain because he was never sure of who I needed to handle the pain.

He always sought to numb himself because he believed that his emotions would distract him, and yet as they stood there with him, they could only watch in silence as the young Wynter suggested something that they all hadn't even thought would come for him.

It was almost like this was a better version of him, a home to him and a place he needed to be in.

Life was coming at him from all directions and he was filled with so many regrets and yet as he looked at them, Alanor was not going to run away this time.
