The deep distorted voice obstructed his statement as Kwastir growled in anger. He muttered something incomprehensible as he moved forward to attack Zeph who too dashed forward.

Just as the claw and blade collided, snakes hanging freely immediately taking advantage of the momentary deadlock, jumped forth to bite at Kwastir who unexpectedly didn't try to hinder them slightest and let them do as they please. He was confident in his skin's toughness that energy constructs like these can't harm it in the least. 

The snakes flared as they bit him throughout on his arm from hand to shoulders but their fangs were unable to pierce through his skin as he expected. Kwastir laughed loudly as he dislodged his claws from the blade of Zeph, to continue his relentless attacks on Zeph without caring about energy snakes the least.
