章 169: The Arachnid Trap

The sun was just above the horizon when the demons felt something amiss. It started with a minor trembling of air but slowly turned into something bigger than that.

"It's earth…." 

One demon squealed out in shock, just as he completed his words. The ground began to tremble violently. Earth quaking intensified in a few seconds, leaving no chance for surprised Demons to escape from the earthquake.

The trees and ground broke apart in gist, causing terrible destruction everywhere. Some of the slow demons were caught up in the upheaval while they watched the whole region getting turned upside down by the quakes.

The Forest area turned into devastated land with cracks and upturned trees and plants in the area. Roots and broken tree portions littered the large area, effectively destroying the forest cover into ground zero for the wreckage.
