章 141: Betrayal

The trio waited for a few minutes to hear the sound of fighting from another side. But to their surprise, there was no audible sound at all. After idling for few more minutes in silence, finally, Brian could not take it anymore. 

"What's happening?  "

The other two shook their heads indicating that they were as clueless as he was. 

"I think either one of them is dead, and another one ran off or there is something fishy going on. 

But we can't wait anymore, let's proceed. " 

He ordered his team. They drew their weapons and cautiously made their way crossing the bush to another side. 

They were ready for any kind of surprise, but upon arrival they only found Zeph sitting cross-legged on the ground, meditating. 

There were no signs of fight or struggle. And also Exousia was also not in their sight which relaxed them a little but their confusion was apparent. 

"Brother, what happened here? Where is that Yaksha?"
