He also passed some of his past bottlenecks in the few days he had traveled with Shingi, going through floors to reach the rest of the Party.

They faced a variety of mutated beasts, and Shingi tried to find different each time so that they could work on adjusting at the moment against the unexpected. He kept giving them tips and tactics before each battle but kept them to the bare minimum and left some for them to figure out.
