章 10: Track 10 A New Piece Enters the Field
<The scene opens to Tai practicing his stances for his Martial Art, prior to his encounter with Murdock he thought that he was a simple street thug with no real discipline or skill. But now after a brief exchange with him, he learned that Murdock is a master at keeping things in control; all his blows were pulled and balanced with Ferocity and Control.>
He felt overjoyed finding someone who can hold an actual challenge to Murdock. His boss provided information on Murdock thanks to Caisua Federal Agency, obtaining background info was relatively easy; though it seemed only basic info listing him as a Foreigner with a military background and no emergency contacts that would lead to any possibility of deeper information or relationships on him. He tried learning his military history only to find he was in the Primary Infantry Division and transferred to Covert Ops with all details blacked out.
Tai feeling annoyed leaves his dojo heading to a relatively abandoned & crappy streets filled with beggars, he approaches a small bar between two bigger buildings. As he came in he got body checked by the body guards as he made his way to the back office, there stood a kid who wore a black suit which looked WAY too big on him he wore the largest & thickest glasses and was skinnier than a string bean with a bright teal bowl haircut. The bean kid said "Ah! Mr. Tai! Glad to see you're not arrested!! According to my contacts you had a fight?" He asks as he struggles to open a nut with a nutcracker, Tai reached and easily popped it open.
Tai they clears his throat as there stood an awkward silence, "*ahem* Yes sir, I encountered the suspect of Unsightly Jack; Waylon Murdock. I almost had him but he was more skilled in combat than expected, he's clearly no ordinary street punk. He was apparently a member of Special Forces so he's not gonna be easy to best but he shall fall."
Clicking footsteps could be as a petite woman who can be no taller than 4'8 emerge from the shadows, she had Black & Red half shaved Pixie hair, Bright pink eyes, with pale complexion as if she hadn't been in the sun for eternity as-well as have long pointed ears. She wore narrow dark tinted sunglasses, Black three-quarter turtle neck, red pencils skirt, & high heels which made her look a couple inches taller. In her hand she held a faded brown business bag, she then continues to say "Sounds like a losers excuse to kick a wolf while they are beaten. Honestly Mr. Fagiolo, I fail to understand why you wished to hire this wash up I know a team of men eager to shoot & kill."
Mr. Fagiolo sighs and says "Yes I understand your concerns and points but Mr. Tai worked with my father and always pulled through." Giving a rather stupid and naive smile as Tai can't help but think 'This kid is gonna die in this world.' As all three of them have a chibi body.
<Meanwhile elsewhere in the city Murdock is coming back home to discover his stuff is being moved out and his apartment has the Evicted Notice written in red ink on red paper>
Murdock narrows his eyes to read the paper to read the issues and is like "Geez they need to use either white paper and red ink or red paper and black ink. Now let's see here…" he mumbles through legal jargon and then goes "Primary reason for eviction is: late on rent & point a gun in your neighbors mouth and threatening to "make them squeal wee wee wee all the way way home"? Okay I didn't say anything that cheesy." He takes the notice to the land lady for complaints.
She says "Sorry you're late on rent and plus apparently he won't sue this place or you, which last I checked you're too broke to even afford a court ordered lawyer." Even if she is shorter than Murdock, the sizes felt reversed and he's the tiny man and she's the giant old lady. "So to keep you from going BACK to jail and me from losing my place of business-
'primarily not lose my source of income' *she whispered* "- I decided to evict you and throw your crap out and have a nice drug dealer with excellent credit move in, instead."
Murdock sighs feeling defeated he leaves the office and sees his pig faced neighbor silently chuckling as Murdock punches the pig in his snout breaking a tusk in his mouth. Going to collect his stuff which was only a box & a suitcase, Murdock goes through the streets mumbling about money & house market sucking royally.
<He knocks on his bosses door and waits for Madam Plaisir to answer until she answered dressed in formal business attire as she looked at Murdock and put the pieces together easily> She says "I take it you'll be taking my daughters bodyguard job?" He grunts and nods reluctantly as she pats his head the two looking like chibi's and says "Don't worry I even throw in a roof over your head, you can stay in the shack out back. Plus you may have to play grounds keeper at the school few days a week."
Murdock stands there weigh his options and sighs saying "Fine I'll take the Bodyguard work. You're lucky I need a roof over my head." She guided him to the shack in the backyard and he started getting himself acquainted as she left him his uniform for the school: Black & White baseball cap, Green coveralls with "Murdock" written in cursive over the right breast & tan work boots plus work gloves.
<Scene ends outside Murdock's new base of operations>
