Crackling in the depths of the fire, she felt enchanted by the scene. Bathed in crimson, Lumielle couldn't help but remember seeing the smoke rising from the cathedral that she had burned down. How many years ago was it? Or rather, how many years would it be in? Time seemed all the more confusing.
The door opened to reveal Leo. He had a golden tray carrying tea and some cups. Sitting down, she watched him carefully pour the tea into the small delicate china. It was rather amusing to see the skilled knight do something so docile.
"I trained you well," Lumielle hummed taking the cup into her hands, "I feel proud."
"The Princess was the one who chose us," Leo answered.
Indeed, she had done that. She had picked the two twins. Though, the real reason was for her own satisfaction. "You guys were so cute back then," Lumielle answered with a slight tender smile on her face.
"I'm older than you," Leo responded back.
wow ! i think this is the most dialogue that i've written and it's so weird because both leo and lumielle aren't loud or talkative people. but i hope you enjoyed this chapter haha !!
