the best the best the best... i mean this is really a wonderful novel . in it there are moments of ponder and poetry and wonderful lines ,,, this is one is the best, i am not an English speaker and i am not well weirs in English but this novel poetry have moved me . i hope there be faster translation for this work.
The author seven cats is not good at writing plots and he’s sometimes ambitious in trying to make the story and characters real and profound but not hitting the mark because of his writing skills lacking. But the load of historic informations and attention to details on what happened back in time feels like the author is a historian. Which is the biggest factor in what kept me reading any of seven cats novel which not many appreciate. I love reading history of movies and celebrities and I wonder how a Chinese could research this so thoroughly
I might change the rating as a read the version here because I stopped reading it here due to it having MTL chapters. Anyway, this is a great read. I swear! This book introduced me to songs I wouldn't have known if I haven't read it here. Characters are complex. World building is great. Storyline flows smoothly. This is one of the gems here in Webnovel. Give it a try.
I very much liked the story, at least no over dramatic face-slapping typical of this type of setting. And especially no ccp propaganda nonsense and racism.
It's a fun read. The Hollywood setting is not my usual cup of tea, but it does feel realistic. The MC himself is basically a gary stu, but that's fine. The story is mostly a vehicle to explore this nebulous environment of "showbiz". The translation is pretty good, though some of the phrases are a bit jarring when non reincarnated characters use stuff that you see mostly in Chinese webnovels. The story is a bit dated because of all the scandals we are aware of now, especially Weinstein, but it doesn't break immersion. I suspect if it was a female character that Weinstein scene would have been impossible to read with a straight face. The one bit I like is that the author seems to devote plenty of time to flesh out the environment and the character's reactions to the protagonist. It feels a little lengthy, but I do enjoy those bits so I didn't feel like he was writing to increase the word count. The authors tendency to pluck music is a bit off feeling, but in universe it seems to do it's job well enough. As long as you keep in mind that the character is basically a gary stu, this is a very fun read. I'm not giving this 5 stars because I acknowledge that it has flaws, but don't get me wrong. This is still one of the most enjoyable reads I have done in the past few years. Highly recommend. A+ for creativity
I swaer to God I literally lost braincells reading chapter 42. Mc who is a Natural born Actor that impresses almost everyone that seen his acting from nobodys to even Hollywood Superstars/Actors can’t for some braindeath reason look food at Camera if its about Photography and not filming. This is literally impossible because thats literally the smallest requirement to even consider yourself as a Actor.
hope you continue with this, I love the story but yours is the only one I can stand the read as you translated this greatly. so please don't drop it.

Honestly, I don't know if I already gave a review from this account but another 5 stars rating is worth it. I really like novels that digs deeper into the feelings and reaction to the audience when they watch how the mc acts. When you stop editing the chapters, I was really heartbroken. So I'm really thankful that you get back to this novel.
I have read for about 900 chapters. But I'm really not sure whether to continue or read later. Till the chapter i was reading, i loved every bit, but i was dumbfounded when Heather Cross died. I thought she was the love interest even though some clues suggest she might not be. Can anyone please tell me who is the love interest? According to some reviews, they said that till EGOT was pretty good but after that it went downhill. I really love Renly's character and personality so i am hesitating to continue because some readers said that his character collapses. Although I know that i should read it myself and decide because different readers have different perspectives, I really don't want to take risk as i love his character so much. I hope to get some help. Thank you.

The novel is very good, but it is filled with filler's. The protagonist in 200 chapters does not act except in a movie and a series, and the series began filming in the 18 chapter and ended in 30th chapter, and the film began to be filmed in 94 and ended in 107, and the rest is a whole lot filler's to 204 the novel is very slow. I know that the author wants to build the world, but the situation has become boring to me at least

I love you Renly <3 Sad about the slow updates but enjoyed the ride none the less. The character Renly was of course my favourite. An actor in the pursuit of the most challenging, most perfect preformance. His responses against adversity and his wit. His unrelentingly elegence and gentlemanly manner. His aura power outweighting muscle power. All chef’s kisses. The little ‘fan fiction’ bits of how existing actors would react to ‘Renly’ was also an enjoyable experience, especially Chris Hemsworth, Vin Diesel and Ryan Reynolds being such adverse characters. Similarly I could see someone like Renly becoming close buddies with Ryan Gosling and Paul Walker. Honestly I envisioned Renly writing the song, ‘See you Again’ at the news of Paul Walker’s death, even playing a big brother role for his daughter like he does for Hazel. Overall an enjoyable experience. Cannot wait to read more xx
