While I was waiting for my spirit awakening. I looked around to observe the other children that were waiting. From my line the children wore fancy clothes so was I but less I was a minimalist. Clearly the most exuberant clothing was worn by the children that belonged to the clan but I guess this was like a more important birthday or a coming of age ceremony. Soon the first line was finished with all of them having the pagoda spirit with an innate level to 5 to 7.
Then it was now our turn. Most of them awakened something that was known as junk spirit it is a spirit that can not be trained appropriate to quality to the spirit there was no spirit power within most of them. Although there was a decent number that did have good spirit and had the ability to cultivate. The weakest one was someone that managed to awaken the Black coyote spirit he had the spirit essence level of 3 compared to the other it was not that good. While the strongest was a boy who went by the name Cheng Ming who had a flaming sword spirit with a innate level of 7.
I know the guy and let me tell you he is a real piece of work he often tries to harass me with his goonies but I just ignore him well there was this one time I kicked his ass. But he went running to his dad Cheng Fu he sent his killing intent at me... Dick so I avoided him but he kept hassling me.
Now it was my turn I was called upon on the podium with a hurried walk I stood in front of the spirit master that will be awakening my spirit. I looked at him unflinching at the immense at his aura he was emitting.
"Are you ready?" He plainly asked me with his tone being plain and emotionless. I nodded at his question and waited for him to start.
"SPIRIT AWAKEN!" He shouted as a wave of energy shot out of him as the surrounding spirit stone glowed a bright blue light.
My body felt light and strong with this energy that was surging through me. Soon an luminating golden brilliance exploded out of me filling the whole hall. In his right hand there was a sword, is a golden sword with a silver in lining that had runes etched on it. The cross guard was mixture of gold and silver which held ruby gem in the middle. The handle was a solid gold that had a dragon carved out at the pommel. While on my right hand there was a small golden shield that had a coiling dragon carved out that was surrounded by swirls of silver with a blue gem in the centre.
'The Holy Dragons Shield and Sword' This was my spirit essence it was a essence that prioritised the both attack and defence and was empowered by holy light making a top tier tool spirit essence. But there was something else that was in body it was trying to come out but it felt different from the sword and shield which a controlled warmness. This was abyss and madness I managed to contain it I did not want to cause a commotion.
Everybody looked at me shocked at the display that my spirit awakening show cased and admired the beauty of weapons. The Spirit Master shook away from his surprise and passed me an orb telling me to touch it. I touched the orb with my hand.

Ning Fengzhi POV
The spirit awakening was going as normal as I watching the awakening of servants children a large majority of them awakened spirits with no potential but a decent number of them have mediocre combat spirits. The highest was a flaming sword spirit held by Cheng Ming A good talent but from what I heard he had a terrible attitude and often bullied others and when they retaliated he ran back to his father for support. As such his attitude was something that was not befitting a spirit master.
Then it was time for the boy Chu Feng to have his spirit awakened. His parents spirit essences where a shield and a sword respectively. His father had the Light cutting sword while his mother had the Beast shield. Two relatively powerful spirit but were not top tier. Soon the spirit awakening began a powerful golden glow soon took over the the room and a draconic roar reverberated throughout. When the light died down Chu Feng held a sword in his right hand while there was a shield worn on a brace located on his left hand. Soon the spirit awakener took a crystal ball and gave it to the boy. And the soon a powerful light shone once again only this time it was blue.
"Fully... in..nate" The person who awakened the boys spirit stuttered out. He awoke an spirit that was fully innate. Which mean that he was already at rank 10 and to advance he only needed to get a spirit ring. I was astounded by this I would never thought that such a gem will fall into the lap of my sect was astonishing.
I looked at Uncle Sword who was looking the sword that the child held in his righthand. I could already understand where his mind was headed he was probably going to take Chu Feng as his disciple. That would be perfect it would tie him to the clan even more. I looked at my daughter as a thought crossed my mind which I quickly erased Rongrong would not prefer to be engaged a person 2 years younger than her.
I Looked Uncle Bone who had his eye open to reveal to crimson pools of murky darkness and he quickly turned his gaze to me and uttered these few words
"Sect Master let me please take him as my disciple" I looked at Uncle Bone in shock as did Uncle Sword whose expression quickly turned to anger at this unusual request since he was planning to ask the same request.

Gu Rong POV
It was just an ordinary awakening I would not have a come if it wasn't for the fact that I was an Elder however it seemed to be fate as I saw the child Chu Feng enter the awakening circle. I heard chatter of him apparently he was child whose parents died in service of the clan as well as being extremely loyal as well often helping clean or reading in his spare time. When his spirit awoke I felt a powerful holy light wash over the room as well as hearing a dragon cry. Soon the child was adorned with a golden sword and shield. My Bone Dragon martial spirit growled in discontent those weapons were making it uneasy whatever these weapons are they are powerful enough to make my martial spirit uneasy which was impressive. However that was not what caught my eye.. For a slight moment I felt a power that much like mine evil and dark it was quickly supressed. I looked at the Sect Master and Chen Xin it looked like they did not sense it. Makes sense it was only for a brief moment after all.
But that did not make sense at all his spirit essence was a powerful holy type spirit essence it was impossible for it to have the evil attribute. Unless twin spirit essence this boy had another spirit one that was evil attributed just like him. I remembered my past struggling to not fall into depravity due this martial spirit if it wasn't for the clan giving me a place beside them who knows what would have happened. I felt a need to help this boy with this cursed power that he has been dealt with.

Ning Fengzhi POV
"Why Uncle Bone you never showed interest in taking a disciple besides wouldn't Chu Feng be more suitable to be Uncle Swords Disciple" I asked the reason for his bizarre request. He just shook his head
"Sect Master that boy has a second spirit one that has the evil attribute it will best if he was left in my care" He replied
Twin spirits such a gift exists in my sect. I understood Uncle Bones reasoning evil attribute spirits where a rare heavenly gift the only person with twin spirits that I know of was the current leader of the Spirit Hall.
"Then what about his first spirit does that not matter my teaching will be more fitting for him" Uncle Sword said. This was a situation that I thought that would never happen.
