章 32: A Kiss Of Promise

The warmth that hovered around me made my tears flow out of my eyes. Lately, the tension around me has been high. The pressure to act as Kaeden's lover and wake myself up that I am still me. It's tiring, to tell the truth. 

I didn't expect Yustaf to pull me into his arms. Even if he wanted to comfort me. He looks like the one who wants to be comforted. I wonder what he has been going through to make him look like this.

"You're funny," I told him. "You're the one who wants to be comforted."

"I think so too," He muttered to me. "I don't know. When I saw you and Master together, I didn't like it."

"What do you mean?" I asked him, not hearing it clearly. Yustaf took a step back, but our bodies were still near each other. Now I think about it, we have a height difference. I think he's a head taller than me.
