章 48: Epilogue

The sound of crunching gravel invaded the still silence of the night, as a lone soul walked through the arid land.

The night was dark, and cold.

The way the cold jealousy clung to him didn't faze him because he'd found what he'd been looking for.

Freedom.

He closed his eyes and smelled the fresh air.

The light illuminated the quiet surrounding and called to him.

The light told him to come that it'd been waiting.

That was good news, and about time too.
