*Still on Mike POV*
Head!?
A rotten hairy head was found inside the trashy chest.
Gross... I covered my mouth immediately trying to hold down my vomit.
This is disgusting, muggots crawling from the hole of its eye sockets sucking the rotten flesh like jelly.
I lost my power from my knees and fallen to the ground while still staring at the chest.
This feeling of being scared... I haven't felt this for a while since the ships sinking.
Not giving me a break, the rotten head shakes and looks at me with its empty eye sockets.
The head gives a loud shout that vibrates the air throughout the cavern.
I'm was so terrified that I started to do my usual thoughts of complaints on everything.
(If only I fight the thugs head-on at the street instead of running back and Impressing Ray! If only I haven't taken that class! If only I haven't done anything on that day this will not happen! AHHHHH)
I panic. Of course who would not panic in that kind of situation?
The head finishes his ear breaking shout and speaks to me with an intense glare.
"You're not good enough. Hmph..."
After the head said his words the chest close itself.
Before the chest had closed I was sure I heard him whispering but I think it must be my imagination.
W-what a feeling... I thought I peed myself.
Oh... I actually did.
"hahaha!"
I laugh in a sign of relief but after that, I went back into a reality.
I'm still stuck here in the cave.
I check at every side of the cavern and found nothing about another way.
(Looks like that the only way to escape from here is to climb through the hole but if you tell me if I can do it, it's basically impossible.)
*sigh*
I look at the trash chest again with curiosity in my head.
(No one would leave a single chest in the middle of the cave without purpose, right?)
Time to be a detective.
Without touching the test like earlier I observe from a distance. I'm still afraid that the head might pop out again.
At the top of the chest, there are words but because of the disgusting substances covering the whole chest, I can't read it properly.
Like I don't have any choice but to accept the fact that I need to get close to read the word clearly I started to walk with shivers through my spine.
Fortunately, it's English.
"Li...L-Life and... Death?"
I can only read it barely but I don't get the meaning behind it.
Since I touch it anyway I continued searching the exterior hoping that there is something helpful.
Of course, I'm not planning to open it like I want to experience that whole shit again.
At the bottom of the chest, I found another word, this time it's a name.
"I-Imuthis?"
Like I heard of this name before.
Racking my head will not help me to solve this so I continued to search again.
About an hour of searching, there are no more words can be found except the two.
Reading the words again in my mind I tried to think what's the meaning behind this but still haven't gotten a clue.
"Imuthis. Imuthis... Imuthis... Life and Death... Hmmm... OH!!!"
I get it!
This what we studied in school! Wuhaha! I laugh with a proud tone.
The trash chest, the rotten head, the name 'Imuthis', it all makes sense now.
If I remember correctly this name Imuthis was mention by Mr. Leeds from the famous book. (Book: El Fili)
That Mr. Leeds guy did say that there are two powerful words for Imuthis. One is to summon him from the chest and the last one is to seal him.
But if you tell me about this I never actually study about it. (It's a miracle for me to remember something from school actually.)
I get it where this story came from but I don't know what are the two powerful words are.
(Life and death, huh...)
Speaking of life and death what is this place actually...
I'm certain this place is not afterlife after living here for weeks yet I know that I'm not in the real world.
My head is full of thoughts.

Another day had passed and still no clue.
Giving up on searching the path to escape I lay down looking up to the void sky through the hole.
I guess I'll stay here forever, huh.
*grumble*
The ground that I'm laying down vibrates wildly.
(What is it this time!?)
Unlike the last time I was more prepared in this kind of situation that I managed to react barely.
In an instant, my body moves away from the shaking ground as I went to the end of the cavern and look at the ground.
I managed to escape this time! Well that was I thought...
A dark void suddenly appeared in front of me sucking me into it without giving me a time to react to it.
From the shaking ground to a sucking void what a piece of luck do I have in this place.
I struggled to get away but the strength is strong that it was futile to resist.
"Are you fucking kidding me---!?"
And so my vision turns all into black...
Without giving me an answer, or a clue, or even give me hell on what happened I went back into the real world without having anything.
Thus, another nightmarish hell began in the real world soon after I woke up.
(Just kill me already!)
