“A Match Fight?” Martinez sarcastically repeated. “What an amusing idea. I already have you surrounded and out gunned. Why give up my advantages?”
“That might be the case.” Lisa seethed. “However, there must be some reason you hadn’t just killed us outright from the start. We have something you want.”
Martinez was silent for a moment. “Not really. I can manage without those present here. Besides, you have nothing of interest to me anyway.”
“Are you so sure about that?” Lisa countered. “I wouldn’t be going to all this trouble to put out the fire simply out of the kindness of my heart. I know about something valuable that you clearly don’t, and your curiosity is holding you back. Am I right?”
Martinez’s laughter echoed off the nearby building walls, “I highly doubt that. Do you think you can fool me into believing that that useless dam is valuable? Getting electricity from hydroelectric dams has long since been outdated.”
