章 26: Ch.26 Reunion
This was the first time they saw Kris since his performance with the three stage 3. Their mind went blank for a moment.
Then Kris started patting on Zhengs shoulder and laughed. "Damn dude, when did you get this kind of power? Were you hiding it, the whole time during training?"
Zheng smiled bitterly, he pulled out the bar from the wall. "No, I just discovered it not long ago. And I cant last long. Every time I throw, it will spend some Qi. According to the amount of Qi I have and its recovery rate, I can only throw five bars at a time then I have to rest for five minutes."
"Five bars huh?", Jie sounded impassively and scratched his head, but then he looked at Kris then said "You brat! have alot of explaining to do."
Kris raised his hand up and said, "Whoa, take it easy there old timer, we'll get to that but first let's survive this movie."
Jie, Lan and Zheng look at Kris and nodded.
"Five is still good. I dont believe the Aliens exoskeletons are tougher than this steel wall. Too bad we only found out about it now and didnt have the opportunity to practice your aim. Otherwise, the Aliens probably wouldnt be a problem for you." Jie said
Zheng smiled bitterly again. "Those Aliens werent as easy as Jie thought. Aside from their strength and speed, the most terrifying thing was that they would hide and wait for a sneak attack. He encountered them two times in this spacecraft. People only died from the sneak attack. Even though they could still kill anyone face to face, it was more terrifying when they were hidden. Actually the most terrifying thing about Aliens are their sneak attacks, last time Lan and me..."As Zheng was talking, he noticed Lan spacing out.
He asked, "Lan, what are you thinking?"
"I am thinking why would Xuan bring them away. With his wisdom he cant possible not be wary of the danger beyond room 15, yet why is he willing to take the risk? Perhaps there is something more dangerous here?" Lan wondered.
A thought struck Zhengs mind. He and Lan said it at the same time, "The four people!"
Jie looked at them in confusion. "What about the 4 people weren't they eaten by the alien? I dont get what you're talking about."
Zheng looked bitter as he said, "The Aliens that were going to trap was killed by Kris that means the queen have no more minions. I have seen Alien Resurrection. The Queen could sense the death of its offsprings. If we only trapped them, there wouldn't be a reason for the queen to create more minions as they could still escape once they could figure out how to melt the walls. "
"But if we are moving toward room 15. These Aliens may do anything to escape, in order to protect their nest. At that time we will be the ones facing these Aliens because we are behind them! Such a ruthless person, did he plan it all out when he was setting up Kris?" Zheng flumed.
Lan shook her head. "No one can have this kind of ability. He's also not familiar with our personalities, how can he plan so far ahead. He probably came up with the plan on the spur of the moment. He saw that we decided to split up then used us as their shield."
Kris was just listening in before and added " I know you see me as an annoying person at times, well ok most of the time but; trust me when I say that there is no such word as imposible for people like Xuan."
Jie then gave his two cents, "Is Ok, just tone it down when were on mission; it could create more tention within the team at a crucial moment and might cost us our lives! you're a pain in the though but a useful one."
Zheng calmed down then started searching for something. After a while, he said in a cold voice, "I will let him know we are not his pawns. Lets see whos the first to die!"
Room 22, bathroom...
Zheng and the others hurried to this place Kris taking the rear. After they entered the room, he had Lan lock the door. Then he rushed to one of the individual shower rooms and said, "Hurry up and clean all the scents on your body. Then smear the food that I gave you on your body. Remember to cover it all up. Understand?"
Lan immediately ran into a shower. Jie also started to clean his body, after a while he heard Lan shout, causing him to go to her location.
But before Zheng could do anything, they heard scratching sounds outside the door. That sound was so harsh it was like someone was scratching the floor with metal.
The three of them immediately stopped everything they were doing. Kris wasn't able follow what they were doing because he was keeping guard.
When the eerie sound was heard Kris gestured for the group to stay quite and stay under the showers. Kris also proceeded slowly he wouldn't want the alien to focus on him.
Zheng just walked into Lans cubicle and looked at her with embarrassment. That sound stopped in front of the bathroom. The three of them felt as if their hearts had stopped beating, except Kris who was now holding his unlit light saber. The only sound in this room was the sound of running water. Other than that they didnt even dare to breath.
The stress coming from outside lasted so long, it felt like several seconds or maybe several minutes. By the time that sound went away they were almost at the point of suffocation. They immediately started to breathe in air deeply. The three didnt say anything.
Jie started smeared his body with cheese again. Zheng and Lan also smeared liquified food on their body. The whole thing only took one minute. You can see the potential of humans here. Kris couldn't help but chuckle abit but said nothing.

Om_Nom_Nom Sorry about the previous chaps paragraph spacing, It was hard at first but now as you its better. I had to DL a new keyboard... the clone phone's keyboard sucks hopefully I be able to get coverage with my phone soon since I'll be getting wifi contected... or get my laptop but that's a long shot my whole condo building is still on lock down. And again we all have to learn to live with Felicity... blame the roullete! I was hoping to get super girl from smallville... sad
