章 21: He Was Holding a Child

The body of a child at the age of 3 years and a half was still growing. Kids around this age usually had early bedtimes, and should usually be drifting into dreamland around 7 p.m.

It was now 9.30 p.m. after the whole ruckus from earlier on settled down.

It wasn't long before Lu Li had become so sleepy that she started rubbing her eyes and yawning as Lu Junhan held her in his arms. Her crystal clear eyes were getting wetter underneath those long eyelashes, but she was trying her best to stay awake.

She wanted to stay with her daddy for a little longer.

But in the end, she succumbed to the drowsiness.

Her little head would drop down onto Lu Junhan's shoulder like a chick trying to peck food off the ground. There would also be moments when she snored lightly like a pig.

The noises around her weren't able to wake her up, perhaps because of how comfortable it was, sleeping in daddy's arms.
