章 3: 3) Beacon Hills...

After that Asher had been coming around for awhile deciding not to go bac on any trips yet the only person he had met other than Talia was her daughter Laura who it was obvious she was making her next alpha. He had even made an illusion of himself as a ten year old to meet her so at least one person knew of his existence even if she was going to die.

Like that seven years passed and he avoided going back to Beacon Hills until one night on the news.

*Seven Years Later*

News Anchor, "Tonight on WWN, The reclusive and billionaire tycoon Alexander Matthews and his wife Sarah Matthews passed away in a yachting accident. They leave behind a sixteen year old son Asher Matthews who is the sole inheritor of their mass fortune. Asher Matthew has still not been seen or questioned since he is at his private school in New Hampshire. We will follow this story and update your as it progresses."

Asher looked at the news laughing with his headphones in as he made his way out the airport, he was never at school this year so he was going to be held back but didn't really mind. This was one thing he could skip and just go off to work in a clinic or something but he didn't do it since the plot revolved around the high-schoolers.

After leaving the airport he got into the waiting car with the driver who was his 'dads' and the man drove off towards Beacon Hills. This wasn't the night of the bite he actually came a day in advanced everything else wouldn't start until tomorrow.

The drive was long and boring but he did get a tour of the town which was slightly bigger than what they showed in the show since the fact that they really didn't show anywhere but houses, the school, and major scenes. The place was under populated though so it wasn't a surprise that it didn't show much around.

After awhile they came to his new house which was actually pretty modest considering he was the richest man alive, but he lived alone so no need for a mansion or anything. Going inside he threw his backpack on to the bed and sighed while bringing out his spell/enchanting/alchemy book.

He still hadn't unlocked the last two pages but figured that they would when something major happened in the story that was new seeing as the world was a little different. While lost in thought his phone rang and seeing who was calling he couldn't help but smile.

"G-man what's up?" Asher said with a smile on his face.

"Man were going to miss you up here and you didn't even tell anyone you were leaving, you better send us an invite to your first party." a loud and happy voice sounded from the other side, loud music was in the background so it was obvious he was at a party.

His name was Grayson and Asher me him two years ago at a private boarding school, and although he was loud and annoying Asher stayed his friend. Mainly cause he was loyal to a fault but also because he was a Phoenix, he hadn't unlocked the gene yet but it was there. Other than him Asher had met a Dragonkin, Lizardman, and some bird looking thing he didn't know.

"Yeah don't worry when I am fully settled you and the guys will be the first to get invites to the place." Asher said while putting away his book.

"Yeah and you better introduce me to some pretty girls at that time to or I will kick your ass...." he laughed but went quite for a moment the only sound being the loud music, "Real talk though I'm sorry to hear about your parents, no one could see that coming."

Asher snorted in his head because of course they couldn't he had taken one of his yachts and blew it up with explosives by putting them in the engine. "It's fine, I just needed a new start."

"Okay well I will call you tomorrow then." He hung up before he could cry if the choking sounds were any indication, the guy was nice and he actually was Asher first real friend other than Talia.

After the call Asher slung a his backpack over one arm before walking to the garage and taking out his motorcycle, it was sleek colored black and gray and was something he actually won in a race from Grayson. Starting it up he put on his helmet and made his way over to the animal clinic.

When he showed up it was close to closing and he watched as Scott took off in a beat up blue jeep with Stiles at the wheel. He didn't bother about them and walked inside standing and waiting for Deaton to come out. "Just a moment!" he heard him yell from the other side.

Taking a seat he took out his phone and started playing a game on his phone since didn't want to stand waiting, it took a moment before Deaton actually came out. When he finally did and saw Asher his expression went from one of interest to delight even going as far to come over and pick him up into a hug. Although the show him would have been more relaxed.

Deaton actually met Asher as his ten year old self and liked him because of his insightful brain though he never got to know Asher's secret since he had kept it from him along with Talia. "Hello Deaton how are you?" Asher said after he was released from the hug.

"I'm good kid. Sorry about your parents your father was a good man." He sighed patting Asher's shoulder and the two stood there for a moment. "Well enough of the sad stuff. So how long are you in town for just the night or do we get you longer?"

"I officially moved here staying over on Hillcrest road."

"Oh really I know another family, the Argents I think they are called just got the house across from yours." he had a thoughtful look like he was thinking about what was to come.

(Don't know if that is the real street name, most will be fake since they didn't really talk about that anyway.)

"Mhm, well I came by just to see how you are doing haven't seen you in a while glad to see the clinic is still going strong." Asher said with a smile even though he knew it would be here. He was though not really sticking to his memories much though cause he didn't know when that curve ball would be thrown when something different in the show would happen.

"Yeah this place it my Haven." his words might sound normal to anyone who thought he was just a workacholic but since this place was built with mountain ash inside of it then it isn't really a lie.

For the next hour they talked about mindless stuff before Asher took off he still wanted to stop by the old Hale house before he went home, though he didn't have school tomorrow he was still setting up the house. The drive there was pretty peaceful if you are someone who isn't afraid of dark scary woods, but since Asher use to live in some it was heaven to him.

(A/N: Everything looks like the show so do the people I will only give descriptions for girls and new people}

The house stood there eerily the noise of creaking trees the only sound around, Asher had already scanned the place with his magic and knew Derek was inside but just watching him. Getting off his bike he took off his helmet and waited to see if he would come out and didn't need to wait long before he did, he was the same brooding person.

the two had a stare down before Derek spoke first, "This is private property and you should leave before I make you."

Asher grinned at him, "Don't use that tone with me, I might be 'younger' but I still knew your mom and she was always nice to me along with your sister Laura." he mumbled in younger but he wouldn't tell anyone who or what he was yet until he made allies.

Derek froze hearing that and stared at Asher, "How did you know my mom and sister?" there was a little heat in his voice.

"Well my dad met your mom seven years ago, then through that year I met them too. Remember that black SUV that use to come often to pick them up, that was me and y dad." Asher explained it offhandedly, walking to the house he started to look around, "So where is your sister?"

He probably didn't hear the last part cause he looked dazed staring at Asher putting together the pieces of information that he most likely didn't get over the past couple of years. When he was back Asher was already walking around the house looking at the damage caused by the fire, the place looked even more bleak inside.

Derek finally caught up and walked with him as they both stood in the living room if that was what it was before, "My sister passed earlier today, I don't know who did it but I plan to find out who. Can you help me?"

Asher looked at him with a brow raised, "And what makes you think I am a wolf like you? Though I know about them my family aren't wolfs we are just, well I can't say normal humans, we are magic."

"Magic?" he raised a brow though he had heard of the druids they didn't really use magic.

Asher didn't bother to explain and just raised his hand small balls of elements started dancing in his hand, Derek was shocked but also thought it was cool but wouldn't admit it. Throwing it in the air they all came down like rain and since they all cancelled each other out then it didn't hurt when touching them, not that it would hurt Asher in the first place.

Derek didn't know what to say this was something out of his wheel house not that he knows everything supernatural in the first place, at most he knows about hunters and some other species. While he was in shock Asher walked out the house to the side where the grave of one half of his sister was and did a silent prayer for her.

Though he wasn't religious he still did it as a sign of respect for her. Derek had finally caught up and had a million questions, "How far does your magic go? Can you fly? Where does your magic come from? Are you strong enough to take me down with it? Is there a weakness?"

Asher stared at him for a moment with a raised brow, "Why would I tell you a weakness of myself that is stupid. Yes i can take you down I am strong enough to kill an alpha on my own, while maybe three or four would kill me, two would be a challenge in itself. Fly? never tried it actually. Lastly I can do a lot so no clue how far my magic can go."

It was true he had never tried to fly with it but it was a good idea, since it was a version of wind magic combined with gravity he could try but until today he never thought of that. Thinking back he had done nothing other than following the book and then like a lightning strike it hit him, he needed to think of his own spells too rather than following the book.

It wasn't that the book was keeping the last two pages from him it was that they stayed blank because it was for his personal use that was his own made spell from the simple ones given to him. Looking at it the other spells never mixed with another and they all were in either an elemental section that went with the element or a type that gave a specific action.

While lost in thought the other two pages did get unlocked and he got a power boost it was fair to say he could take down a group of Alphas but that they could still kill him if ambushed. Derek the entire time stood there staring at him in slight awe wondering if he could get him on his side and maybe it would be easier for him to find the one who took the alpha spark from his sister.

"Well Derek you have been a big help tonight but it looks like I need to go back and get some things done." Asher didn't give him a chance to speak before walking back to his bike and taking off to his house.

For the rest of the night Asher took to the idea of combining spells and while he was back to chanting it was working out easier for him since he already knew what elements to try together. There were some that worked that were opposites but it actually took a lot out of him to get them working. His mana actually was never ending but he would eventually feel the fatigue if he used it all night like he did, other then a short break he would be just fine and ready to go again.
