Chase cleared his throat. 'How am I gonna respond to his short reply?' he thought. Even though this Emperor was showing such calm movements, he couldn't stop but felt nervous.

Cadmus parted the cup away from his lips halfway and glanced at Chase. "You looked stiff," he commented. 

Chase jolted and averted his gaze, "B-Because t-this is the f-first time I-I saw you, Your Imperial Highness," he mumbled.

Cadmus' lips curved a small smile, "I know," he replied. He put the cup on the table and leaned his back. "Do you have something you want to say?" he asked.
