章 62: Taking Lift From The Strangers

Twenty kilometers.

'How In the world she was going to reach to the manor by walking this much.' Anna felt like crying. Suddenly she regretted her decision.

She turned around and thought of going back to the penthouse. But when she took two steps In the direction of the building she stopped.

"No No there is no way I'm going to go back there. So, what if I have to walk to reach the manor. I won't give up on my pride like this." Anna said firmly.

"And what is this small distance? I can finish it just like this" she snapped her fingers. She looked at the map and started to walk towards the direction of home.

But unknown to her someone was following her each and every step. The person was lurking in the dark without making its presence known.

After walking like an hour Anna took a seat near the road. She was exhausted.

"I can't do it anymore. I can't." Her whole body was sweating and she looked very much tired.
