Although I can't say much about the novel itself, I've known the author for quite some time and I'm certain that this novel is great just like the other ones they've made. Of course, if you doubt my words, then be my guest and read the novel :)
Pretty good read based on what I'm seeing so far. The way the story flows is smooth and we have a lot of character going on via dialogues and scenes. Truth be told, sometimes I go through several chapters and I see a lot of dialogue (a little bit too much sometimes), in which the information is useful but I'd like to see some non dialogue text, whether it be telling or showing the world or the areas the protagonist is in, but I guess more of that will be in the future. So far this is a form of a build up, straight to the point to an extent but still taking its time to develop everything. Overall, it's a good array of chapters for the build up.

The writing quality is excellent and there are few to none grammar mistakes. The plot speed is slow and soothing, and hence this book is perfect if you want a break from the fast paced ones. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a good book to read.
I feel Dejavu reading the first chapter. Especially the part where the father back with a boy and make him to be a brother of female MC. I remember read it this year, but can't recall the title. T--T The writing is neat and clean, its comfortable when you reading the story. The story has slow pace, even though has time skip on it.

Nice world-building and lore set up. It seems like the major bigger plot is being stablished slowly while we spend some time getting to know our characters through a couple of simple adventures. My major problems are the pacing and the two leads. I feel like things take a little too long to happen and progress. A lot of time is dedicated to banter and exposition, which is fine most of the time but I'm kinda having a hard time getting invested in Damian and Fei. They seem to be more interested in setting up their roles as bickering siblings and not really in letting us know their goals and motivation (at least so far into the story) I feel that anyone who likes fantasy adventures will enjoy this, but for me personally, I wish the characters got a little more depth and development. Still, I liked the way the things are described, enjoyed the action, and was genuinely curious about the bigger major behind the scenes plot. I suggest reading the first three arcs to find out if this is for you or not.
