A deafening silence embraced the entire place. No one attempted to move, even the werewolves who left in the prestigious battle.

Drake held his breath as sweat flowed down to his lips. He wasn't certain with his decision yet but he yearned to save the two of them.

"Father...," he mumbled and looked upon his bleeding neck. "Thalia!" He turned his head and realized that she became too weak and frightened.

"Save your father, Drake! Save him more than me!" She told him but Lord Voltaire thrust slowly the edge of the dagger to her neck which made it bled and left a small cut.
